Was he really getting as looney a people say? We killed cable here in our house almost a year ago, and the last time I saw him, he was going on about Soros like people used to talk about David Rockefeller back in the Seventies—eeeevillll incarnate.
Glen Beck is a modern day Cassandra.
His assessments and predictions are correct ... but ... it’s hard to listen to him ... so ... few do.
Vaya con Dios
Glenn’s going underground like his rival Alex Jones and also PJ TV. Glenn is planning a web only internet tv channel, just as Alex Jones is planning one. Glenn said he wants to leave New York, Just like Rush Limbaugh did. Alex Jones is from Austin, Texas. So it seems a push is underway to leave NYC. If thinks get worse I wonder if Mark Levin would be the next to leave New York.
Sort of a surprise. I thought he was to stay until around the year’s end. It’ll be interesting to see what Beck does after June 30th, and also interesting to see if the official explanations for his leaving hold up.
Meant If things get wrong. Wrote Think.
Even super-high ratings cannot protect a commentator who dares to expose George Soros.
Well, I hope his new channel is included in basic cable because I’m not going to pay another dime to Comcast.
IMHO, Beck was very informative on current events, but when he talked about religion, I ran for the dial.
I don’t like being preached to by someone who believes the Garden of Eden was in Missouri, that Jesus and Satan are brothers, and that people can be gods.
Megyn Kelly?
Good grief!
Speaking for myself, I am so sick and tired of all those bleached blonds with the same hairdos and extra tight very low-cut bodices which would get them a big pinch in the ass if they walked around in them in public. Those extra tight bodices are what are cutting the blood flow to their little very tiny brains.
Beck had a rough month ratings-wise in May, slipping -17% in total viewers and -33% in the adults 25-54 demo compared to last year.
how much of that decline is related to the weather. warm weather = people spending time outside at that time of day instead of watching tv. also wonder how much of the decline is caused by people knowing beck is leaving so they just stopped watching and investing their time in something that is going away soon.
Well..I will miss his shows, but his leaving will free up a lot of space on my DVR.
I’ve learned a lot from GB on that show over the years.... plenty of stuff I NEVER heard anywhere else in my life. And, when I researched it for myself, I’ve always found it to be true.... occasionally with a bit of “Beck-slant”... but, that’s to be expected.
We’ll catch you on the flip side, Glenn. :-)
I wonder, on Beck’s last show, if the RED PHONE, the direct line to the WH, will ring...? Imagine Obama calling him....
