It could very get so bad that even one day the regular police will end up having to call in either the SWAT or the NG to bring law and order back.

As of June 1, this morning, on WLS-AM Don and Roma, it's now more than clear that the problem at the Chicago beaches were gangs. There were thousands of these kids out there, knocking people off their bikes and high-fiving. There were robberies, etc., etc., etc..

After the beach was shut down, they went on to Navy Pier, Millennium Park, and Michigan Avenue.

I guess that Rahm is going to have to bite the bullet and make belonging to a gang so painful and so horrific that not getting involved in one will seem even to the most "dull" to be a good and obvious choice.

I remember riots in Miami in the 70s and the National Guard posted on street corners. Not a comforting sight in America.
