On Friday far left Rep. Anthony Weiner said his twitter and Facebook accounts were hacked. He said this after a picture of his penis was reportedly sent out to a young woman in Seattle.

Tonight Gennette Nicole Cordova released a statement.
The New York Daily News posted a response from the woman who received the penis tweet from Rep. Weiner. She admitted that Weiner followed her on Twitter but blamed the penis tweet on "the person familiar to me" but maybe not Rep. Weiner. It's a bit confusing.
Friday evening I logged onto Twitter to find that I had about a dozen new mentions in less than an hour, which is a rare occurrence. When I checked one of the posts that I had been tagged in I saw that it was a picture that had supposedly been tweeted to me by Congressman Anthony Weiner. The account that these tweets were sent from was familiar to me; this person had harassed me many times after the Congressman followed me on Twitter a month or so ago. Since I had dealt with this person and his cohorts before I assumed that the tweet and the picture were their latest attempts at defaming the Congressman and harassing his supporters. Annoyed, I responded with something along the lines of "are you f***ing kidding me?" and "I've never seen this. You people are sick." I blocked their accounts, made my page private, and let the matter drop, expecting them to eventually do the same. Within about an hour, however, I realized that I had grossly underestimated the severity of the situation that I had somehow become a part of. The last 36 hours have been the most confusing, anxiety-ridden hours of my life.
I've watched in sheer disbelief as my name, age, location, links to any social networking site I've ever used, my old phone numbers and pictures have been passed along from stranger to stranger... Blah. Blah. Blah. The poor dear. She says she's a victim. Sounds like your typical democrat, huh? No wonder Rep. Weiner "followed" her.
So has Weiner asked the feds to investigate his "hacked" twitter account yet?
I wonder if his wife Huma bought that line.
Gotta watch out for roving peckers.

He deleted all the photos in his accounts reportedly and she deleted everything and tried to shut down her account.
She’s gone from calling him “my boyfriend” to “the Congressman”.
It’s bizarre behavior for innocent folk, I can tell you that.
Why would he lie about actively twittering when he saw the Tweets? In truth, his account was inactive for 204 minutes. Innocent people don’t lie.

Her denial makes absolutely no sense. I don’t believe for a New York minute that some stranger using his Twitter account was harassing her then finally broke down and sent her a picture of his um... parts.
This is a very lame, uncoached and unprofessional denial which leads me to believe that where there’s smoke....

Please; I hope the “alleged” picture of his “alleged” penis does not start going ballistic on the internet. I, for one, do not want to see it. If his little head is as ugly as the one on his shoulders............. I’ll friggin’ pass; for sure.
I cannot stand Weiner dude; but, I don’t think he would be stupid enough to do that.

Isn't Huma Hillary's BFF with benefits? I assume that Weiner is just doing Hillary a favor to give that broad a good cover story. I always figured they were giving each other cover, but perhaps Weiner likes girls after all.
Knowing this guy’s personality, how do we know this isn’t just his official portrait?

The usually gabby Congressman is uncharacteristically silent. He’s in New York because the Daily News had a photo of him and his wife out on a walk yesterday- where he refused to comment on the story. I’m guessing he’s trying to come up with a suitably contrite confession. He can say his initial claim about being hacked was done in a moment of panic, but the denials by his staff are another matter.
That was obviously a well planned coverup where, in essence, he claimed a federal crime had been committed. I’m guessing he’s consulting with the Dem powers that be on whether or not he has to resign. The sex aspect isn’t a problem, but the cover up is.
I’m hoping someone will explain all this to me someday, it’s very confusing.
Why did Weiner follow her on twitter? How would she know a picture sent to her on Weiner’s account was actually the crotch of a third party who had been harassing her? Did Weiner send this as a public (or pubic) tweet by mistake?
