Thanks for the post. It does happen for sure. That’s why I never condemn Dick Cheney for his positions on this stuff. The man has a real dilemma on his hands too, but he is one of the best we have ever had in office imho.
Real love has to be informed by truth. Love does not condone or put a pretty face on mental illness, immorality or sexual perversion. Cheney is a fool for promoting the homosexual agenda. It is indeed possible to love a family member while disapproving of their mental illness - which homosexuality is. It is a life destroying perversion and there is help for people who identify as homosexual. There are countless thousands of former homosexuals.
If someone had a relative who was a thief, or a heroin addict, it is loving to promote "theivery is fine" or "let's have tolerance for heroin addicts"? NO! Love mixed with toleration of evil is not love; love that accepts mental illness as a legitimate lifestyle is not love, and it doesn't help the person afflicted.
Real love means letting the person you love know that they don't have to be "gay" and that there is help available.
