The feminist media watchdog group the Women’s Media Center (WMC) is calling on MSNBC to suspend television host Ed Schultz for calling conservative talker Laura Ingraham a “slut.”
“While conservative bloggers and watchdog organizations are highlighting Schultz’s remark, the Women’s Media Center also calls on MSNBC to suspend Schultz for his comments, since they not only attack Ingraham, but all women,” the group wrote in an alert Wednesday. “Ms. Ingraham is no friend to the Women’s Media Center, but a sexist and misogynist attack based on her gender and not her political views or comments is harmful to women in media, politics, and beyond.”
Schultz called Ingraham a “talk slut” and a “right-wing slut” on his radio program Tuesday for her criticism of the president’s trip to Ireland while the Midwest was reeling from severe weather.

This is good news. A liberal women’s group criticizing a leftist loon (Ed Schultz) for his vile, sexist slurs aimed at a conservative media personality (Laura Ingraham)! About time these vicious whackos are called out by women. I hope Schultz is suspended. I wouldn’t watch this nut on a bet but he needs to be reined in.

Who cares? Schultz’s blathering just highlights his own deficiencies, which are both numerous and profound. Why bother pretending that liberals aren’t “above” the fowl mouthed hate speech they so often indulge in. It’s who they are.
The pendulum is starting to swing back for some feminist groups. I attribute it to Sarah, Michelle, and other strong (and feminine) women who are also leading the conservative charge against liberals and the old lesbians battle axes who claim to represent all women.
WTAM, Cleveland, had a stoopid Indian’s game on, so I had to find Rush elsewhere. When his program was finished, some idiot came on and was calling Laura a slut. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing! The guy sounded completely crazy! His delivery was that of a mental patient!’ So that was Shultz,,,,,,, Sleazeball,,,,,, I was embarrassed to hear that cr@p on the radio!
Heard about this. At some point the management pukes at MSLSD have to do the political calculation that Sgt. Schultz ain’t worth the baggage.
He reminds me of Gabby Gifford’s Shooter.
I’m sure Schultz has his fans. I wouldn’t want anything to do with them.
On a more positive note, Laura Ingraham could beat the snot out of Ed Schultz.
