These are formal, ceremonial affairs. We want them to come off without "news" happening.
Everyone looks best when they play their respective parts correctly.
If everyone did so then no one is owed an apology or explanation and we can move on to the next crisis on the agenda.

Why on earth would the Queen give a hoot about Hollywood actors? Because the Queen is an actress. This entire charade is ridiculous.

The lavish dinner was hosted in the Palaces ballroom, where the Prince of Wales hosted the private meal for 300 on the evening of the royal wedding. Oh, that wedding that the Obamas weren't invited to.

The dress would have been ok on another person.
It emphasizes those big old greasy arms of hers- and if you notice, she’s got the boob belt. (even if it’s made of self fabric)
This dress emphasizes the fact that her waist is almost up under her boobs.

The libs really flamed him all over the net (especially on the Idol forums) for daring to sing a song mentioning Jesus and for kissing the cross he wears around his neck.
Vote for Scotty. Make the libs heads explode!!!
He’s an exceptionally talented 17 year old
conservative Christian.

Did the president fail to sip his champagne after toasting the queen? I don’t remember anyone commenting about it, so I thought I must have missed it.

Americans should be very proud to have such an elegant and classy couple in the White House and representing their country abroad. As a Canadian, I am definitely jealous. We haven’t had a Prime Minister with any class since Pierre Trudeau and, like Obama, he was reviled by a certain segment of the population. Mr. Obama is so intellectually superior to his critics that it’s almost embarrassing. These are the people who loved “Dubya” so what does that tell you?
