My heart toward Israel has been the same since the 1967 war when I was very glad they won. My sadness for what the Jewish people have suffered has been the same since at the age of 8 I saw the terrible concentration camp and mass grave photos in Life Magazine in 1946.
My feelings towards Israel were cemented when I was 12, after watching a documentary on Adolf Eichmann.
I hope you no longer put them on equal footing with the Palestinians.
Israel can’t afford that.
