Cain stumbles on right of return?
The Right Perspective ^

US presidential candidate Herman Cain is trying to recover from an embarassing stumble over the question of the Palestinian Right of Return on Sunday.

“Right of Return?,” Cain blankly asked twice in response to being questioned about his position on the vital issue on FOX News Sunday. The second or two of deafening silence that lasted before host Chris Wallace repeated “The Palestinian Right of Return” to the Republican hopeful seemed to last forever.

Research is so much fun!! after my Comment #95, I decided to look up the Grand Mufti. Actually he was first the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, he instigated various violent anti Jewish activities in Palestine, then ended up in Germany in WWII where he helped promote the “Final Solution”. Subsequently he went to Egypt where he arranged for the assassination of the king of Jordan. His son was YASSAR ARAFAT. As I said, research can be amazing.

There is no such thing as a Palestinian Language!

There is no Such thing as a Palestinian Blood line!

There is no Such thing as a Palestinian DNA Marker!

There has never been a Palestinian government nor was one ever attempted except as a tool to further undermine Israeli and Jewish rights to exist and in peace!

There is no unique Palestinian History!

There are no Palestinian Archaeology digs!

There are no Palestinian Archaeology artifacts or antiquities!

There is no such thing as a Palestinian!

So called Palestine at one time included Jordan.  Why isn't Jordan considered a larger part of Palestine or even East Palestine?

Palestine is a joke and a synthetic invention of displaced losers, who are nothing more than homeless and stateless Arabs owing their DNA and historical lineage to every country that surrounds Israel

There are many people in our world who despise the very thought of an Israeli state. Doesn’t take much to get them out of their holes and out in public.

We can have France, Germany, Poland, Italy, etc. but the thought of a homeland for Jewish people just angers them no end.

Sadly predictable. All the while they insist they are not anti semitic. Really?????

First of all, it is far more complicated than someone who hasn’t been educated in Judaism and Judaic Law...which is different from Israeli Civil Law, would easily understand.
I was going to leave this alone, because the fine details are for different and very specific reasons that those not born Jewish have difficulty grasping.
The main thing is that our numbers have been so reduced by progroms that have gone on for literally thousands of years, and by assimlation into other cultures, that there are, even now, only thirteen MILLION, with an M, of us left in the entire world. The progressive reform sect and the conservative sect do not practice Judaism according to the Torah, or even according to the Noahide Laws, and in fact spit in G-d’s eye where it comes to the Laws that are supposed to govern human morality.
Marriage,in Judaism, just as in Christianity, is a sacred vow to be taken in front of G-d and honored by BOTH spouses. We, in the west see marriage as something we can conveniently walk into and out of regardless of the reason. It’s easy. So divorce in the west is almost like a game made up by rules dictated by lawyers. There is nothing sacred about it. The Orthodox Rabbinate in Israel has as part of its duty, to protect and preserve the sanctity of marriage AMONG JEWS. So they make it bloody difficult for you to just walk away By the same token, you do not undertake HEBREW marriage without knowing full well that your vows are before G-d in the very Biblical sense and all that it entails.
Having said that, the Rabbis are not made of stone and do understand that there are circumstance that can make a marriage intolerable. I know because I have seen it. They will never force a woman...or a man...to stay in a marriage that has become a punishment.
The purpose of Holy matrimony is to procreate. As our numbers have dwindled, whether by genocide or assimilation, the need to repopulate to insure our survival is paramount almost to anything else. To do this, the MOTHER must be Jewish. Teaching our children to live in such a way as to honor G-d also means teaching them in a way to honor G-d’s creation. Life.
The civil, secular authorities permit abortion, divorce, and all that goes with NO religion. Homosexuals can be openly gay without fear of harassment. But if you are going to CALL yourself a Jew, be MARRIED as a Jew, it is expected that you act like one. Reform and conservative sects do not act like Jews, do not respect the Laws of Moses, and are therefore considered NO religion.

That is the short version for the marriage laws you brought up, and I am very tired now. So I will end this for tonight.

Cain stumble on the debt ceiling as well. He now support raising the debt ceiling because congress have made it a disaster if the celing was not raised. This tell me Cain can not stand the heat of the bad publicity of the debt ceiling cap. Cain was my backup candidate after Palin, now I can’t support him anymore

LOL. Yeah, let’s make a big deal out of the fact that Herman Cain isn’t up to date on every detail of the Middle East peace process.

Yeah, right of return is a big deal in the issue, I know that—but HUSSEIN couldn’t prounounce CORPSMAN, forgot how many STATES were in the union, and announced to a crowd that everyone loved the post office...and that his new DEATHCARE bill would allow employers to save 3000% on premiums.

Look, if we’re gonna allow the MEDIA to nitpick every awkward moment for Republicans instead of pointing out the UTTER INCOMPETENCE and fascism of Hussein, then we’re asking to be slaves to the liberals.

I ain’t lettin’ that happen.

The enemy isn’t Cain, or Pawlenty, or Gingrich, or Palin, or Romney, or Paul, or Johnson, or Santorum....the ENEMY is Hussein. He must NOT win in 2012.

Perhaps when germany gives the right of return and return of stolen property to the Jews, the Jews could do the same for Palestinians.

There is no right of return for people whoi have been sucking off os government in so called refugee camps since 1948.

If they havent the good sense to have gotten a job,and a life by now why do they feel they should have a right to return?

Yeah, you’re right....what we need is someone who is a foreign policy WONK, who lives and breathes this crap...someone like Jimmy Carter or John Kerry...oh, wait...

;-)

I think we need someone who has basic, accurate and conservative convictions about the world who will find out facts on the ground and apply his worldview to those circumstances.

Did you see the SC debate? Herman’s first question was about Afghanistan. He didn’t make a big policy statement—he said he frankly didn’t know EVERYTHING he needed to know about the situation. He would get good people around him, learn the facts, and decide then.

Cain didn’t become a success by stating particular tactics BEFORE he knew the facts.

just mho. :)

Oh, for heaven sakes. Cain blew it bigtime. He had no clue what Matthews was asking him about. Even after Matthews gave him a big hint. Stop trying to cover for him. Cain doesn’t know foreign policy, and we already have one guy as Prez who doesn’t know it either. Why would we want another foreign policy illiterate, even if both Cain and Obama are smooth talkers. That’s not good enough, being a smooth talker. Cain’s off my list because he doesn’t have even a smidgen of foreign policy experience or knowledge, in an incredibly dangerous world.

I couldn't have said it better myself.... However I did give it a try and was roundly flamed on this earlier thread....

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2723566/posts

My comments start at post 24 and you can see how fast I was sicced upon by some who don't know how to have a good debate. Like I'm some kind of liberal plant because I don't think Herman Cain made a good showing in the interview. Like I'm lame for knowing about the so called right of return that has been argued about for 40 years or so. The ME conflict is the most important in the world to most informed Christians and of course Jews, you would think that most Conservatives would know the Pali Israel issues inside and out but many here are defending an embarrassing lack of knowledge by pointing to their own ignorance of the subject. Sheesh!

Big difference is, we're not running for the leader of the free world and we've known about a right of return argument for decades. I think Cain made himself look really a lot worse by trying to pretend that he actually understood the issue when he obviously didn't.

I do not hate Herman Cain. I am a conservative. I just don’t think the man is anywhere near as intelligent as people think he is. This is not the first “blunder” he’s had, either. I’m going to post what I do have. But before I do I just want to say that what I see, is people running to Herman Cain over a few repeats of things like “we need to reform immigration - we need to strengthen national security. We need to stop spending so much” JUST like people ran to O over hope and change crap. And I think it’s dangerous.

Herman Cain on de-funding tax payer abortions: “Absolutely I would de-fund it. I don’t know the mechanics. I ‘think’ it has to come from the congress. Because the House of Representatives, they have to basically, put forth the spending bill. Planned Parenthood according to Cain = “It was a sham to kill black babies.”

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GCQzf1e0JJ0&feature=player_embedded

When asked what his view on nullification is. Cain didn’t know what it was. “What..” The interviewer elaborated / educated him - - the example used was Arizona and their recent immigration law - “Basically it says that a state can exercise its tenth amendment right and say hey, you know, we disagree and we nullify, we’re not going to follow that court decision that congress passed, or

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=So_l21cPGoQ&feature=player_embedded

When asked how he was different from others who are running, his response was that one of the strengths that he has that will emerge is, how he “talks about” common sense solutions. In fact he’s publishing a little booklet in about another week where it talks about common sense solutions for ten of our biggest issues.

He wants to make legislation easy for the public to understand, or he won’t sign it. He said don’t send him a 270 page bill. Send him 270 one page bills........

He’s also missing 30 % of his colon, and 70 % of his liver.
