I think Obama is more of a putz than a shmuck...
Putz: literally, a diminutive form of penis; a prick. Used, as we do in English to describe a nasty, unlikable man. A putz generally has no real power, except to make your life miserable or at least unpleasant, often in a passive-aggressive way. Whereas a shmuck can be thought of as a large, erect prick and putz, a small, limp one.

(It’s the difference between “jerk” and “total a$$hole.” — It’s a very subtle difference, I grant you, and the line is often blurry.) Note: I recently had an almost Talmudic discussion with my brother-in-law about this subtle difference between a putz and a shmuck, and he summed it up perfectly: “One is erect, the other is limp.”

During the 80s, my mother and I were having drinks at an outside cafe across the street from the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Gorgeous day. Bibi comes in, sits down with a friend and orders a drink. My mother - who has had crushes on Israeli politicians and soldiers (starting with Moshe Dayan) dashes over and starts up a conversation with him. I cringe in shyness. He was very nice, very good-looking and had that wonderful speaking voice.
I felt sorry for him during that tv press conference. I’m sure he just wanted to belt Obama but had to sit there looking presidential.
Stick a ‘stache on Barry, and he’d look like Richard Pryor.
