I think and believe God may have decided to place such a large amount of his heavenly creations in Australia with such a deadly defense system so as to remind mortal man who really is in charge, and if necessary to punish those that fail to treat them with all due respect.

That is a fundamental flaw of a modern liberal society, they are taught to walk the easy wide boulevard and to never have to lift a foot over an obstacle nor to make decisions of a winding twisting path. Or how to react to dangers. Blind stumbling fools.

Thus they are weak spirited and unguided, without wisdom or even common sense, and therefor they will fail Gods test against his creations. I’m not at all surprised that many people from oppressive countries have decided to immigrate to Australia.

Sorry I forgot to finish my train of thought before I posted, Australia is a land of the strong and true hearted.

Could a person even for a second visualize the consequences of what would America might be if many animals and insects were of such a poisonous nature?

Talk about survival of the fittest!

I always wondered about those paved 'nature trails'...and seldom used one.

Take heart. The Tea Party Movement shows that we are not alone . Sarah Palin pointing out that our enemy is not just the Democrats but also career politicians from either party is also encouraging. Those are the ones you are complaining about. They do what it takes to get elected whether it is best for the country or not. I am not necessarily endorsing Sarah but she has seen and pointed out some problems that no one else had voiced. Now others are joining the course.

We did pretty well during the last election cycle and hopefully we will do better next time. I think the country is in a mood to throw the bums out if they don’t do what they said to would do.

The big problem is this radical bunch in the WH and Reed and Pelosi and their far left colleagues are still around. We haven’t had an honest election since 1988 and the Democrats have lined up even more phony voters since. If we can get this bunch out our country can be saved. However, they are doing all they can to destroy it before they leave, if they leave.

Thank you, your words are indeed encouraging.

Yes, we made great strides in the last election, but have you noticed that the "OLD establishment" is still DISSING us, i.e. "NEWT", how dare he, but then I see he knows his days are over and is fighting us tooth and nail to continue to hang on to his establisment ways and force us to swallow it. Just another silver tongued SOB.

Oh, how I would love to have Sarah Palin, very refreshing, yet I just don't see how the "OLD NEWTS" will allow her to ever be president. They just won't.

I have never been so disgusted with politics than now in what I am seeing from the "OLD GOPERS", I fear they will TAME the new tea party members of Congress, no I know they will. When the new ones feel the $$$$$ available to them they will also TOW THE LINE and be corrupted, mark my words.

Nevertheless, I too like all of you will continue to work towards our goal, knowing there is no perfect man or woman, I just want HONEST and free of corruption, is there such a person out there?

The Tea Party??????? what Tea Party anymore?, in my state the movement has fractured already, with each one vieing for the POWER of the "so called Party", and badmouthing the other. Just what I thought in the beginning when it started, and whoever gains the control, THEY TOO will become the new power and as corrupt as all other's Dems and Republicans in the past. That is just how power works, $$$$$$ for the taking. Makes me sick.

Don't get me wrong, I will continue to VOTE and TRY my best to elect, and elect, and elect until I take my last breath and with that last breath I will still tell my children and grandchildren that they too must be viligent on who they elect. So far they are in the RIGHT column, lol

ALL POLITICIANS ARE CORRUPT OR CORRUPTIBLE, PERIOD. ALL.

Until our Lord Jesus comes back, I will occupy as I am directed to do.

“From 1996 to 2003, the total number of gun deaths each year fell from 521 to 289, suggesting that the removal of more than 700,000 guns was associated with a faster declining rate of gun suicide and gun homicide,” said adjunct associate professor Philip Alpers, also from the School of Public Health at the University of Sydney. “This was a milestone public health and safety issue, driven by an overwhelming swing in public opinion, and promptly delivered by governments.”

DON’T COMPARE AUSTRALIA TO THE US! IT’S AN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT CULTURE!

There is not much I can add to what you say because you are describing human nature, the same thing that makes free enterprise work. Politics, teaching school, policemen and firemen have all transformed from a calling to a job, most represented by unions, the leadership of which is also a job. That is the result of over 100 years of the Communists slowly subverting our society in order to control it. They have pretty much succeeded.

There are those who will take the Tea Party Movement and try to turn it into an actual political party. That will only divide conservatives even more. The Communists are hard at work infiltrating various groups right now. That was a We the People Movement and that spirit has not died.

Make sure your children and grandchildren learn the true history of this country and our historic place in the world. They are not being taught that at school. And keep them in church. God and family are the foundation for all the rest.

Keep fighting. It ain’t over yet!

"Keep fighting, it ain't over"

True words and you can best believe we will. My grandchildren all have the correct view, in spite of the schools agenda.

And as a Christian, we know we wrestle against, "Powers", has always been so. Just get weary of the fight sometimes, and disgusted with the PLAYERS, aka "NEWT" who came in sheep's clothing. It has been very encouraging discussing this with you, we all need all the encouragement we can get these days. Seems like it is getting worse, but then again I may be witnessing the complete destruction of the OLD GOP establishment who are now ALL FIGHTING AGAINST US to keep things as they were.

As scripture says, "Pride comes before a fall". I would think the old establishment would/could see what is happening to "NEWT" and have a change of heart, but then again scriptures tells us that their hearts will be hardened, so hardened they are blinded. Blinded as to what is about to happen to them in their LOSS of power and their ties to the gov't/lobbyist pursestrings, the $$$$$ make them blind. We shall see.

We are to pray for our leaders??? HOW?, but I do that they can change their hearts, knowing it will not happen.

I will keep the faith, thanks.

A couple of additional things that may help:

For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. Timothy 6:10 (King James Version)

“It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God” ( Matthew 19:24).

As you know, the Bible is often ahead of us on most things for its truths are timeless. The above two examples speak to the political issues we discuss and the politicians involved. However, I apply that mainly to the Republicans and misguided Democrats. They are simply acting according to their individual human natures. To other Democrats they do not apply for those Democrats support the anti-God religion of Communism. They are truly evil and they pursue evil means to power in order to practice even more evil.

For us Christians who know the frailty of man, including ourselves, and the fleeting time we spend on Earth, the vastness of Time and Space and the Eternity of Heaven, we are seeking the best for our heirs for we know we are secure in His Love no matter what happens.

For your grandchildren I encourage you to counsel them about what Jesus told his disciples. That because they are followers of Him they will be persecuted and ridiculed, sorely tempted to go astray. I say this because no matter how well parents, and grandparents, do their jobs, once teenagers who are going through many hormonal and physiological changes are confronted by their peers the temptations to stray are strong. Make sure they are aware of that and that they expect it. Once properly prepared the temptations are manageable. Then the temptations of business and adult social life enter the scene and they will have been well practiced in resistance.

I know you know that but I wanted to say it anyway. Your children and grandchildren are the ones who will manning the barricades in the near future.

There is MUCH wisdom in ALL you say.

I often think on this stuff, thinking about POWER, what it is, who had it and where they are NOW.

Those that sought it, had it through their own efforts or because they were ruthless Rulers are just as DEAD as the ones they persecuted and what did that POWER serve them? Sort of humorous, in my revengeful nature.

Too bad the Pelosie, Reeds, Obamas, Newts, Soros's and others all over the world, are so blinded as to not see their own FATE, death and that death I would/could suppose to be HELL.

Why in the world do these types continually persecute and YOKE the people with taxes, killings, and stupid laws? Can't figure that one out, they really must HATE their children and grandchildren to give them that future, but then the Nero's, & Caesar's did kill their children out of jealousy and fear. Ho Hum! Nero and Caesars are just as dead. lol.

And you suggested that moving to Australia might not be a wise move because of our gun laws. What I am trying to tell you is that we have never had a GUN CULTURE in this country to begin with. I know that’s difficult for you to imagine, but it’s true, so therefor any comparisons - or telling freepers not to come here because they can’t own a gun, is just plain stupid.
If you don’t want to come here because you think your store of fire-arms will not be welcome, fine. But let others make up their own minds.

Once again we are bemoaning human nature. To find the root of that we simply need to refer to Genesis concerning Adam and Eve and their expulsion from the Garden of Eden. Eve enticed Adam to eat the fruit from The Tree of Knowledge. This in turn made Adam self-aware, aware of all his human desires and foibles. He was now an ego driven person rather than a simple servant of God.

That was called the Original Sin and mankind has suffered its influence ever since. God reaches out to us all continually to invite us back into the fold. He even sent His Only Begotten Son to suffer and die a terrible death for our sins and to give us personal access to Him through Jesus. Yet, “Many are called but few are chosen.” (Matthew 22:14) for “Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. (Matthew 7:13-14)

Once one understands Christianity and surrenders to it, life is easy to understand but it is still very difficult to put one’s natural desires aside and do God’s will. Many can’t and even more don’t try.

There is your answer.
