This has been happening for years on the lakes, all of them.
It just goes through periods of fish kills and nobody seems to know what it is.
My guess is natural gas seeping and contaminating just some areas. My guess is as good as any of those professors that study the stuff and get paid.

I hear ya...The Maine stock and catch bureaucracy has killed all the ponds and lake up here...The only native fish left is where the locals secretly clean out a stream where the natives can spawn again...
