The Indiana Republican Party just released this video and it does little to suggest Gov. Mitch Daniels wont seek higher office in 2012. Is this Mitch Daniels first campaign ad?

Here's Mitch among the Bushes.
Uggghhhh!
Not a bad presentation, and definitely a nice counter to what the Dems give us.
BUT ... some of us get lost with statements like “800 more ‘child protection’ workers” and “all-day kindergarten.”
What the hell ??????????????
What is with all the damn green coloring ?
All you see is flashes of words of his accomplishments, you can barely read them, it looks like the video was played on fast forward.....
That is one poor attempt at a campaign commercial..........
In that photo, Daniels reminds me of Bloomberg.
Rush Limbaugh was whacking Daniels all day today. He said that the Bushes have apparently tossed Romney overboard and are now pushing Daniels to run, to the extent that Laura Bush even called Daniels’ wife to try and convince her to let him do it.
The GOP in my state has gone insane. Mitch is no Reagan.
That, and Romney also self-destructed yesterday. Even NRO turned on him based on his pitiful speech.
Not letting the Bushes and the GOP elites jam Daniels down my throat. No way no how.
daniels makes john mccain seem like a party.
Daniels was one of the first to the McCain party during the last presidential cycle, endorsing McCain in February of 2007. Yes, that's right, I said February of 2007.
Said Mitch in his early endorsement, "John McCain is a long-time friend. More importantly, he is a principled leader with a history of integrity, opposing excessive government spending and dealing honestly with the American people."
Did you notice “fastest internet speed?” Is this a guy who is going to promise an internet like Indiana has?
Here I am trying to figure out how to cut down on my internet bill. There’s no way I can afford any more innovation from the Feds.
Note the “Just 7 years”. Even Mitch has figured out he needs to run away from his record as OMB director from 2001 to 2003. That’s because Mitch is to fiscal conservatism what Mitt is to Health Care reform.
The Bushes wised up.
Daniels has gotten an awful lot of good solid conservative things done. To Rush, what matters is red-meat speeches and throwing sharp elbows, Rush doesn't seem to care about actually achieving good things, he relishes the verbal brawl. The so-called negatives are taken out of context. Did he raise Sales taxes 1%? Yes, but while dropping the average homeowner's property taxes by 30%. He came in and cut the budget when a $800,000,000 deficit was forcast, and built up a $1.3 billion reserve, which has helped them get through this current situation.
Electable? He's the only guy to knock off an incumbent Indiana Governor in 117 years, and won re-election with 57.3% of the vote in the 2008 Republican "bloodbath" year.
As for "social issues," he defunded Planned Parenthood in Indiana and got abortions walked back to 20 weeks.
His other anti-conservative crime was raising cigarette taxes. Whoopi-do, he saved homeowners hundreds of millions in property taxes (30% average reduction)
I remember that, I also remember his reasoning, that if you would just as soon have less of something, you tax it, if you want more of something, you reduce/slash the tax on it....
To me, that at least showed he understood the thinking and reasoning of supply side economics.
That said, has Rush stated a favored candidate yet ?
I'm trying to remember who he liked in the last primary....Was it Thompson or Hunter ?
"(Ring ring).... Hello Marge.. how are ya' honey? Well we are doin' just great! Listen Marge you really need to get your hubby to step up to the plate.
I know sweetie, but the party needs a true patriot like your man to represent us in the next election.
Oh now don't cry now child! I know, I know... you will have to put up with those nasty press people looking up your, well, you know... yer... um.. hoo haw! (laughs)... but honey, truly, that's no reason not to git on board. It's for the good of the party and our country, think about it as your duty sweetie.
If he doesn't step up we will just have to put up with that no account from Wasilla... "dancin' with the middle class BIMBO"... (chuckles)... you know what I mean.. no offense meant to anyone, I'm a good Christian woman after all...
Well okay Marge... I'm going to give you a week to think about it, but you really should give me an answer by then. We really need to announce his candidacy in the next news cycle for greatest impact.... you know how that works sweetie? Yes you do...
I love ya' and hugs to hubby and the family! Bye!"
