Gee, Bill, you never seemed concerned before about an “independent” truth squad to vet the continuous stream of lies spewed by the alphabet networks and the Marxist-media newspapers during the last 50 years? How come you’re all of a sudden worried about “truth in media”? Could it be because a totally egalitarian information exchange has arisen that isn’t owned and controlled by the elite, where everyman and everywoman can interchange information completely unfettered by gatekeepers?
Here’s how I see what you’re after:
1. “Independent” U.N. truth-squad. Perhaps with the same folks to run the squad that make up the U.N. human rights group. You know, Libya, Iran, Cuba, etc.
2. The UNTS could issue untruth alerts to alert people of fallacious information. They could review the 500 billion new web posting made each day and list all the ones they consider to be untrue.
3. If it turns out a person, persons, or web site receives to many demerits, uh, I mean untruth alerts, then they would be permanently banned from ever posting or hosting a post on the internet forever.
Does that sound about right, Bill?
