After years of stonewalling and fighting in court to keep his long-form birth certificate under wraps, President Barack Obama has publicized an image of the document he claims should resolve his birthplace once and for all.
But is it the real deal?
In his speech announcing the birth certificate's release, Obama quickly tried to silence critical analysis of document:
"I know that there's going to be a segment of people for which, no matter what we put out, this issue will not be put to rest, but I'm speaking to the vast majority of the American people," Obama said. "We do not have time for this kind of silliness."
But Joseph Farah, editor and chief executive officer of WND, the only news agency that has waged a relentless investigative campaign on questions swirling around Obama's constitutional eligibility, warns those questions shouldn't be dismissed so quickly.
"The news media and the political establishment were quick to rush to judgment regarding Obama's eligibility in 2008, without any basis," Farah said. "It would be a big mistake for everyone to jump to a conclusion now based on the release of this document, which raises as many questions as it answers."
Some of those questions have already been resolved – such as rumors WND debunked claiming the name of the hospital on the document was fictitious – while others present significant challenges to accepting the birth certificate's validity.

OK, I had presumed the BC was authentic, and was rather skeptical of WND on this, until I saw that video...now obviously the guy knows more about adobe illustrator than I do...but is he missing something? Because he seems pretty convincing, but its hard to believe there are not a chorus of experts denouncing the document if it is as obvious a fake as he seems to think.

It’s called the normalcy effect.
The reason so many people are willing to dismiss this, and even defend the lie of Obama’s past is because the alternative presents too great of a deception to be believed.
I relate this phenomenon to the normalcy effect that was described in that video produced about the end of America.
People do not want to believe that our economy is about to implode because it represents too great of a crisis to be believed... much like I’m sure the people who were closest to the tsunami in Japan probably had the hardest time of anyone believing what was about to hit them.... Like deer in the headlights... Our psyche has a hard time processing the impact of it, so it refuses to do so.
When Obama came on the scene so suddenly, and so successfully with the help of the media, SO many people believed in him... but more than that... and especially the media... They INVESTED in him psychologically. It is much EASIER for them to dismiss birthers as kooks than it is for them to face the reality of their own deception.
Then of course, there are those who know damn well he is not eligible, and believe that the deception needs to continue for the good of the country... but they are being lied to by the same people who brought us Obama.
That leaves just us nut cases out here who believe that we are victims of the greatest scam against America in it’s entire history.

I know two people personally who are either blind as bricks or are drowning in denial.
Their home business is sinking, they still have no ‘free health care’ and the “hated, illegal” war[s] rage on....yet still They Believe.

Look at that URL. It’s to hawaii.gov. That’s the government of the state of Hawaii. They issue the authentic Hawaiian birth certificates, and they vouch for Obama’s. Maybe White House staff did touch up the document — I don’t know — but if the issuing authority says it’s real, as they do, then we’re left arguing over nonsense.
I am confident that paper money from the U.S. Bureau of Printing and Engraving is not counterfeit. That’s not based on forensic examination; it just has to be, by definition. I know my driver’s license is legit because I got it from the California Department of Motor Vehicles. Forgery is a problem, but no one worries about people forging their own signatures; it’s impossible by definition. Sounds silly, but the issue in this thread is that level of nonsense.
The Hawaii Department of Health says: “On April 27, 2011 President Barack Obama posted a certified copy of his original Certificate of Live Birth.” Game over. Move on.

That is a brilliant post. But, I do find a singular fault. Hawaii is run by communists in the same mold as Stalin. I would not trust either Stalin or Abercrombie. Both are lower than cesspool scum.
Remember, the veracity of a document is only as good as the man presenting it.
As you can see, the US dollar is going down the shitter, as it is now printed by a communist government. Just like the BC. Garbage.
I was skeptical too. My brother refuses to talk to me about this. Like many Americans, smart conservative Americans, he’s been marginalized and is embarrassed to even consider the BC to be a fake.
Then I saw the YOUTUBE presentation by this young geeky guy, orangegold1 (and I say that with humble respect for him). He lays it out...(it’s the first posting that now has almost 700,000 hits on it), simply that anyone with a 6th grade education can see.
But the question we must all ask ourselves is WHY? Why would he do this, ie release an obvious forgery?
Or is the one who released it a true genius, and released it with these alterations to expose Obama?
Trump must not drop the ball on this. He may be hated in the end, but his credibility is at stake here. Surely, he knows. He and Corsi communicate. Surely he must know that the BC that he help get released, is a dummy.

Says he’s too busy getting his class work together, yet he’s on vacation in Arizona...Would take him five minutes to look at a video that lays this out.

The copy from Hawaii was allegedly flown in to the White House by his attorney. He then waved it in the air.
BUT BUT what is posted on the govt website is a PDF file and there is evidence that it has been altered, INCLUDING THE HAWAII CERTFIFIERS STAMP.
In addition, there is no seal.
SO, DID YOU THINK THAT PERHAPS WHAT HAWAII RELEASED AND WHAT WAS POSTED ARE TWO DIFFERENT DOCUMENTS?
The other explanation, is you have an inside job here. They would have needed hundreds of real birth certificates to forge the one they presented.
I think they starte with as many as they could find with the deceased doctor’s name. Or perhaps they actually started with the real BC, but altered it.

Hannity, Coulter, O Reilly, Rush, the entire staff at National REview Online etc all suffer from the Normalcy Effect.
Do you blame them? Two on that list completely denounced the subject— that is what I don’t agree with.
Rush and Hannity on the other hand have danced around it, and kept it in play at least. If you don’t think they’re not at least paying attention to these court cases then you’re mistaken.
It’s not only a “normalcy effect” it’s a politically deadly game of chicken which WND will probably be done if this turns out to be a bunch of National Enquirer hype. Or..the Democrat party, and the MSM takes such a hit they may never recovery; worse than Nixon with their finger prints. It’s very VERY high stakes.
