Are those 125,000 new legal workers brought into the U.S. each month part of the reported 221,000 increase in March? If so, add in those MacDonalds’ bottom rung (mostly) jobs and you don’t have much left.

It seems so. The BLS does not identify the legal (or illegal) status of workers.

However, the household survey does count native vs foreign born as well as counting by race. The new legal workers would be found among the foreign born. If you go to The Empsit Table of Contents, look at tables A-2, A-3, and A-7.

Also the 244,000 includes 175,00 jobs 'created' by the Birth and Death (of business) model which seems to function very opptimistically during down turns.
