The public release of info on the raid should have been handled by the Pentagon from the beginning. For the first week the only info released should have been, Obmam dead and disposed, no US casualties. The rest would wait operations debriefings and post-mortems to confirm the facts, then decide which of the facts can then be released without risk.

I'm pretty sure the Military and the CIA would have wanted the raid and it's results kept secret at least for a few days to maximize the value of the intelligence obtained. But nooo, Obama had to have his touchdown spike right away.
