But Obama is a shoe in for POTUS! The MSM said so.

Wow, I’m stunned.

With this pro-business, pro-growth, inflation-fighting regime, this is quite the shock.

Let me be the first to say we are seeing the end of Keynesianism as a serious economic policy for recessions and stagflation. Obama and crew continue to make the same mistakes FDR did policywise (which Hoover also initiated).

If anyone has not read The Forgotten Man by Amity Shlaes do so now if you want to truly understand why we are not coming out of this slump yet.

The dollar is now trading below 80 yen. And for all of you gold and silver bugs, you should look out too.

No wonder the Osama story had to happen then.

I am probably an anti-American for not putting all my faith and trust in the federal government, which obviously deserves to never be questioned about anything.

Yes, I must Hate America First for not trusting the government.

This number should eventually come down — there are only so many private-sector jobs left to cut.

Our whole recovery must be falling apart. /sarc

I am sure those gas prices are no help.

We can’t afford Obama for much longer.

Now that’s a story.

Don’t worry. The MSM will “explain” the sudden jump (and the last three or four weeks) as being no big deal. Then tomorrow when unemployment drops 0.5% they will babble about how great everything is.

Must be all those tornadoes last week.

No insult intended towards those suffering from that terrible destruction, but the "economic cyclone" of $4.29/gal gas prices is trashing the country. Next month should be truly ugly.

You know what the shocking part is? That the headline didn’t include the word “unexpectedly” (and instead said the same thing by saying that the result bucked the estimate).
