According to sources so far; but then I am just catching up after church; the motive for the attack is still largely unknown, beyond the account from the employee who was filming and laughing, and then encouraging the attackers to run before the police arrived.

I believe it would be prudent to wait for more information from a somewhat more credible source.

I will bet fifty dollars that Micky D’s has a no defense policy in the store that requires employees to call the police and stand back OR lose their jobs.

I won't take that bet because I think the same thing. When I phoned their corporate number I even asked about that but didn't get a satisfactory answer. So I made it very clear that they'll never see me again. (I did like their fries!) I'd have to be nuts to go into any store/restaurant where it's abundantly clear that if some animal decides to attack me......I'm on my own.

I also told corporate that although they probably don't realize it, they've now got a PR problem.
