What surprises me with McLames escalation here is that he doesn’t see a parallel to how the US got stuck in Indochina. We have the French leading the way in an action we all know they have no chance of finishing, especially if thing keep spiraling out of control. I just see a few odd parallels to Viet Nam, except the side we are supporting in this are not just lazy, they are terrorists.
