Look, I’m a fundamentalist Christian, just like I suspect you are and I’m against abortion hence my support of the GOP. However, rape is a different matter. Rape is an act of war, not an act of love or affection. Think about it. Could you honestly demand a loved one to go through with it, even when it could ruin her health, or kill her childbirth, financially ruin her and more?
In a word - Yes.
If a mother can’t or won’t care for her own child, then there’s the option of adoption.
