John McCain: Libya language 'nailed down' (McCain supports Obama on Libya intervention)

Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) said Thursday evening that he and a group of negotiators have “nailed down” language on a Libya resolution and are waiting for instructions from leadership on how to proceed.

The measure would serve as a symbolic gesture of support for President Barack Obama’s use of military force in the North African country. Under the War Powers Act, Congress must authorize continued military presence in Libya after a May deadline if American troops are still active there, but it’s unclear if the Senate needs to act.

“We pretty well got the resolution nailed down and now we’re discussing with the leaders whether we need the vote and if so, when,” McCain told a small group of reporters.

So they want an after the fact support resolution for Obama’s..... “I am man, hear me roar” moment.

McCain is trying to rehabilitate Obama’s sissy image.

How ridiculous.

John McCain is a foreign policy and military strategy mental midget.

The U.S. should NOT have intervened in Libya. If we DID, it should have been at the START of the rebellion when Khadaffy’s forces were in disarray and the rebels were were leading.

Right now, ANYTHING we do to PREVENT an immediate victory by EITHER side will result in the CONTINUING escalation of our gasoline prices, which is driving us right into a second recession.

The WORST thing that happened NEXT TO McCain’s nomination and Obama’s election was the RE-ELECTION of this idiot John McCain in Arizona.

WHO
ARE
THE
REBELS?

We will have a Constitutional Crisis if the rebels are found to be al-Qaeda and Mr. Soetoro, Hildebeast, and Casey the Clueless have armed them. Eric "The Coward" of the Just Us Department will look the other way, I'm sure, and McLame will become a co-conspirator.

Linseed? Linseed Gayraham? And Juan “Shirtsleeves to Shirtsleeves in 3 Generations” McQueeg and his dotty Beer Queen of the `Land of Enchantment’? (Or is that next door? Is AZ the `Really Hot, But It’s A Dry Heat’ State?)

Query: Is the Left Wing Beer Queen jealous of the mincing cabin boy from the Secession State and his Captain Gigilo?
Gee, I dunno. I suppose no more than Sgt. Carter was jealous of Rock Hudson and Gomer Pyle.

You know what? The really frightening thing is, I don’t really think about these things. They just spring from my head, like Athena, but this may be the rice liquor talking.

Meghan McCain? Don’t get me started. Fat girls and mopeds.
I like rubenesque girls, but let me put a poser to you:
Let’s say that you have rolled Meg in flour, so the hard part is done. You are optimistic—admittedly it is a challenging undertaking but not insurmountable. The mission has a clearly identifiable objective and you have the initiative.
Do you think you could get her to stop running her mouth long enough ...
I don’t like the direction in which this train of thought is highballing, my inner voice is strongly advising that we not pursue this hypothetical operation any further.
In sum, in the spirit of the alcohol-fueled exwercize in non sequiter I will leave us with the response of Sir Hillary Clinton when she was asked why she climbed Mt. Huma> “Because she was there.” That is all.

McCain would have been a horrid President.

He will have to settle for being a horrid Senator and a horrid example of a human being.

A great way to sell America on domestic budget cuts, by recommending we throw $$$ at yet another country. Thanks RINOS!

If she adds another couple of pounds to that look, she's going to risk getting harpooned by Captain Ahab.

McCain has been an Obama supporter for several years — mostly during the election.

More evidcenc — as if any were needed — that the 2008 election was a sham.

John McCain is the Wendell Willkie of the 21st Century. For those that don't know, Willkie was a lifelong Democrat and Globalist stooge (he wrote a book glorifying world government call One World) that was shoehorned onto the 1940 Republican Presidential ticket to ensure the 3rd term of arch-communist FDR. After he "lost" the election he promptly traveled the country promoting FDR's policies.
