There was a thread in FR about a year ago that Mitt’s father had not been naturalized at the time of Willard’s birth IIRC.
George Romney was an American citizen. However, during the Romney “boomlet” promoting him as President there was question as to his elgibility to hold the office. The question was based upon the fact he was born in Mexico. The current Mitt Romney’s mother was born in Logan, Utah.
