So far, over 30,000 people are participating in a rolling fast to protest the immoral budget cuts Republicans are pushing in Washington. With some help from Grammy-nominated recording artist Moby, MoveOn.org Political Action has put together a short, powerful video about this fast. Please check it out and then help spread the message by passing it on:

Well, this should make Michele Obama happy! Imagine if all these resources used to make this silly video, would have been, instead, donated to a homeless center or a soup kitchen.

Any time a bunch of lardass lefties decide to “fast”, it’s a good thing for America. Those freeloading piggies can stand to miss a few meals.

A "rolling fast?" Like a relay race?
So you "fast" a couple of hours and then hand off.
Sounds so difficult.

“Immoral” budget cuts?
What planet do these people live on?
First they’re barely cuts - it’s like saving ten bucks on a Corvette.
Secondly, what’s immoral? Cutting a program that never should have existed, or, putting your chidren in debt to the tune of a hundred grand a piece to pay for it?

I always get a kick out of the fraudulant left...Rolling fast (rolling my eyes) its about as sacrificial as Bill Gates giving 10 bucks to a charity and saying he sacrificed to the cause.
Then again, with your religion founded on a lie, liberalism loves to try and link themselves to a moral high ground using faith but the problem for them is only they believe it. Even those calling themselves middle of the ground laugh at this.

By their definition, if they wanted to raise spending by 50% and you only raised it by 25%, it is a 50% cut.

I would be the first to applaud them if they were to fast for 1 day and all the money they didn't spend on food, drinks and so on, were donated to the local Salvation Army kitchen. Or any other soup kitchen of their choice.
Maybe WE should show them a real fast by doing just that. Pick a day, nationwide, and whatever we were to spend for food/drinks, to donate to the homeless shelters.

Well, this should make Michele Obama happy! I don't think so, not unless she gets on the treadmill and loses about 50 pounds . . . their "fasting" will only draw attention to Mooch-elle's rather large posterior and cankles.

Mr. Moby has no right not to be offended.
He also can’t count.
Mr. Moby, sir, we are broke. Busted. NO do-re-mi.
Go ahead and eat, perhaps it’ll increase blood flow to your brain?

The Republican budget "cuts" don't even amount to a rounding error.
This silliness is probably cheaper than Weight Watchers, though. http://www.weightwatchers.com/

they should really fast...and starve themselves from their addiction to government
To: dangus
That could work, since many do post on Fridays. And I am quite serious about this. Why 30,000,000 (million indeed) are fasting!

These clowns aren’t kooky, they’re dangerous. This single stunt may be a stupid attention getting tactic but they have real influence with our “president”.

Just like everything that the left does,
this is a cheap, twisted immitation of the real thing.
It’s what their ideological father does.
