I wonder if any of the Teamster Brothers can pull themselves away from the Wisconsin State Capitol to deal with this...

State and federal agencies cant force vehicles manufactured and bought in Mexico to comply with U.S. emissions rules, even though the trucks cross into this country. Nonsense. They merely lack the will.

Please do not compare the BOs Attorney General attacking the citizens of AZ to favor foreign criminals as equivalent to Bushes and Clinton.
My point is we are where we are today because of actions by the prior three administrations which aggressively paved thw path for Obama's administration.
How about Bush's calling citizens who wanted the border secure vigilantes? How about Bush I, Clinton and Bush II (even after 9-11) leaving our northern and southern borders wide open and refusing to enforce immigration laws? How about Bush abandoning border security officers prosecuted for doing their job (Ramos and Compean among others)? How about Bush II after 9-11 fast tracking Saudi Religion of Peace visas?
Our sieve like borders and non enforcement of immigration law is and has been a security, cultural, environmental, and economic disaster.

"What is WRONG with this picture?"
The better question would be what is wrong with article?
The article is not distinguishing between dray-age trucks/shuttle trucks and OTR trucks.
The article is not distinguishing between the smog emitted by the shuttle truck on the Mexican side that drifts across the border and the smog emitted by the shuttle trucks while on the north side of the border.
There are no US shuttle trucks, only Mexican shuttles. They use only the Mexican junker trucks to keep the cost down.

Offering to pay Mexican truck owners to replace old mufflers with new catalytic converters.
Carlos yells ole free money now if we can get them to pay for some tires that have tread on them.

I can’t disagree with anything you write, but taking LEGAL ACTION to attack the state of AZ is unprecedented in terms of siding with foreign criminals.

Remember Obama in 2009 suspended the Mexican truck program? This move favored unions (an also non-union owner operators) over "free trade" and Hispanic pandering. Other posters didn't believe me when I predicted he would eventually let the trucks in.
Now Obama is counting votes for 2012 (Hispanic pandering full steam ahead), and he thinks that he has filled the unions' coffers sufficiently, so now finally he did another 180 on this issue (he has done this so many times -- wars, gitmo, tax cuts-- that nobody can keep track).
Obama: Let Mexican trucks roll!.....defies unions, ignores Congress
Interesting example of the fact that some factions of both the left and right can be opposed to the same thing.

Being an American citizen isn’t worth it anymore.
We are just suckers to be stolen from, by taxes and fraud, and most are dumb downed enough to not complain. Welcome to the USSA, brought to you by the public schools, who made sure the children of the country know NOTHING of THEIR heritage.

This is a new one. Wow.
My mom’s car failed some emissions test a few months ago. Pretty sure Uncle Barry hasn’t offered to pay for it yet.
