Yeah, but a good percentage of them are homeowners...Trying to dig up 13, even for them, would be financial suicide.
People are having a hell of a time just keeping their jobs and homes...Resurrecting that, would be like gun to the head for a whole lot of people.
The problem we have here is that renters outnumber homeowners. They happily vote to screw property owners with new taxes. The fools don’t realize that they still get stuck with the bill when they pay their landlords’ property taxes along with the rent. They don’t have the 2/3 majority necessary to pass those taxes on their own, but if they can fool enough ‘rat homeowners...
