So, when you say he flubbed up the swearing in, it was because he knew he was ineligible - basically it wasn’t a proper “swearing in” on purpose? Just curious, because I hadn’t heard this before. I like Judge Roberts, however I’m very disappointed that they won’t take any of the birther cases.

Butterdezillion has had extensive contact with the Hawaiian Department of Health and their evasive manner in dealing with her and others making inquiries certainly indicated that they were hiding something Obama didn’t want made public. Just what remains, well, hidden.
This much she and others have been able to detect: a birth certificate was submitted but it was very late and incomplete. The BC was never signed off as accepted by the DOH. Obama himself amended the BC before becoming a candidate for the Presidency, but it was never submitted to a Judicial Court for review and approval, as is normal, and which would make the BC a legal document. So, to all intents and purposes, Barak H. Obama II does not have a legally recognized birth certificate.
What I believe - Grandma Dunham submitted a “birth certificate” so as to make it appear little Barry was born in the U.S. It is incomplete because she didn’t have enough information. But no one knows at this point except Obama.
Note: Stanley Ann Dunham Obama appears in the Seattle area mid-August of 1961, about ten days after Barry’s birth. She doesn’t know how to change a diaper.
As Trump has discovered, there doesn’t exist any record of Stanley Ann having stayed in a maternity ward in any Hawaiian hospital. So, where was his mother?
Obama feels enough fear on this issue to hide his mother’s passport information for the period 1961 - 1965. She renewed her passport in ‘65 - ‘66 for the 5-year renewal, which hints she had a passport for the period 1960 - 1965. No one (usually) acquires a passport unless they intend to travel to foreign destinations.

Yes. The curious thing is that IF Obama was born in Hawaii, then he is illegitimate. Because Hawaii, and the U.S. as a whole, does not allow someone to marry a second wife without divorcing the first.
IF Obama was born in the Coast Province, then the marriage could be considered legitimate, because the British authorities there had earlier agreed to recognize Sharia Law for Muslims residing in that province, and Sharia Law permits Muslims to have four wives.
Certainly there was no such thing as Sharia Law in Hawaii. And the case of the Mormons had earlier established that belonging to a religion that permitted multiple marriages would not be recognized within the United States.
Actually, I think that the chances that Obama was born in Hawaii are just about zero. But if he was, as the leftists all insist without any evidence, then he is the illegitimate son of a citizen of the British colony of Kenya. Not a natural born citizen.
But more likely not a citizen at all. But an illegal alien, British, Kenyan, and/or Indonesian.

Sorry, I still don’t understand that reasoning. Due diligence is embarrassing? Unearthing buried evidence of SOME kind is the least reward here, and that reward does at least double-duty (the damage to Obama matched by the damage to LSM). Just don’t see the down-side. He’s the one who hasn’t released all relevant info. Or maybe, like most of the media, we’re just not supposed to look a *gift-horse* in the mouth. Is “wasting” our own time looking for the truth now a crime or proof of gravitas-lack?
We don’t know what is on the form, and, if it somehow shows he was born on US soil, then the birth certificate becomes a non-issue. I know, it’s a long-shot that there isn’t something damning on the form, but it still is a possibility. Just as a good trial lawyer never asks a question of which he is not 100% certain of the answer, the birth certificate has slight possibility of making us all look like fools (and nobody knows how slight that possibility actually is). The fact that his father was never a US citizen is a sure bet. We already know the answer to that one, so that is the issue that needs to be pressed.

Agree completely. But that one fact alone, a fact that he admits, is already part of the whole argument. I agree, too, that it’s not a good idea for prosecutor or defender to ask a question to which he doesn’t have the answer; but that’s not the way an investigative reporter goes about his work. Somewhere along the line he’s got to ask questions that lead to other questions—limiting, slowly & deliberately the unknown unknowns.

I had heard about it, but I live in Germany, and my mother died 2 days before Obama was inaugurated, so I wasn’t “tuned in” at the time. Is the “big deal” that Roberts purposefully botched it, or Obama did? And for what reason (what was the speculation at the time?) I really missed this, which is why your post caught my attention, and I asked you about it.
Well that explains it the. I am sorry about your mother. Actually Roberts botched it. Not surprising to me. probably means he has a conscience.
Supposedly it was redone in the WH later. But we did not see it live.
Sometime later Biden picked on Roberts and Obama acted upset with Biden. I can only guess Obama wanted it all to be dropped and Biden to just shut up about it.
Who knows what really happened concerning that. There are people who know. But they won’t talk about it.

I watch the dittocam show on my Droid at work every day and was certainly tuned in when the called lambasted him. Rush looked terribly uncomfortable, complete with facepalm and then exasperation. I think the heat is getting to him.
I still love Rush and agree he (and all the others except for Savage) dropped the ball on what looks like low hanging fruit when it comes to the eligibility issue.

Rush has good instincts - he should watch this very closely. Trump's just trying to get the truth - and either way ( if Obama's playing teenage boy defending Mom - or he's doing a long con - or he's NOT a citizen - IT WON'T hurt Trump. He knows how to deal with this kind of stuff...
