I reluctantly condone capital punishment because there are certain monsters who can never be safely kept even in prisons. However, the thought of executing prisoners simply to get their organs is reprehensible.
Agreed.
I did a search but couldn’t find anything.
Thanks, prayers appreciated. I am with family and we are all capable of frank discussions of the matter. I just thought given the subject I might weigh in.

Thanks! I mistakenly assumed that “Falun Gong” was a screen name.
Falun Gong does “ring a bell”. I don’t condone or want harvesting of prisoner’s organs. I merely wanted to point out the extent to which the matter had not been thought all the way through to other places that thinking could go. I’m new at posting here, maybe sarcasm should have been indicated.
I have donated an organ, and the person who has it works saving people’s lives and health. My left kidney serves humanity even more now that when I was using it. I have served the US in uniform in the Navy, and by working for the USMC as a civilian.
It looks like Red China went from Commie to Nazi. The harvesting organ stories sounds like they came out of Nazi Germany.
That's good -- because there are people who already *do* it. And countless others who are chomping at the bit to begin.

"Slippery slope" may be a logical fallacy, but in practice, it happens all the time.

Voluntary is good. Involuntary is not. Especially of vital organs for which there is no duplicate, such as those mentioned in the article.
