In a letter released Thursday, Sen. Scott Brown called Republican efforts to cut government spending “irresponsible” and urged party leaders to get over their ideology and find an agreement on a final resolution to the government through the fiscal year.

((snip))

Echoing Democratic rhetoric on spending, Brown warned that the Republican-proposed $61 billion budget reduction would occur at the expense of the poor and hurt the economy.

No, what is irresponsible (and immoral) is spending money that hasn't been earned by people that haven't been born. He needs to go back to posing nekkid.

I wish he would just flip to the other side, put a D after his name and be done with it.

Not much good comes from the state of Massachusetts, save for Sheriff Joe Arpaio.

He’s been thumbing his nose at the TEA Party and trying to make the case that he isn’t one of THOSE icky Republicans. Despite trying to establish his progressive cred, he’s still under attack by the left in MA as being a radical right winger.

Guess we’ll see how well he does next election cycle without as much support from the GOP base.

Irresponsible is spending money you don’t have that you plan to take from those who don’t have it to give. That’s not hard to understand, unless you’re a braindead liberal which Brown apparently is.

Brown is the most liberal Republican in the senate. I would hope that would results in zero funding from the GOP next election cycle, but I doubt it.

Everyone says, “What do you expect? That’s what the people of Massachusetts want!” I’d counter by saying they signaled they wanted a change by electing a Republican and they didn’t get it. Serve out your term as a real Republican and then let the people pass judgment on your record. As it is, they might as well go back to a real Democrat.

I hope this bass turd’s wife goes out and runs up the credit card and then tells him it’s NOT irresponsible.

What I see here is Scott Brown simply playing politics. He know he’s in a liberal state and he’s going to throw all those conservatives who are just as much a right winger as any in Texas who voted for him, under the bus

his campaign called for money and told her what I thought of Scott Brown. Democrats want to destroy my life and Rino’s want to compromise how far to destroy my life.

We’ve been snookered on this one. Toss him out in next cycle to the trash heap of political mistakes.
