This is not the appropriate thread for that. I don’t think that is appropriate at all. No country, or soul is without sin.Prayers in grief for human beings are appropriate.

That’s why all this emphasis on the nuclear reactors, at the expense of the REAL tragedy of the people, is so infuriating!

Your inference that the Japanese people somehow deserve this, and your implication that somehow I favor kiddie porn, is disgusting.

These people need a miracle right now.
I have always said that faith is what keeps you sane long enough to start cleaning up after a disaster. Without it the enormity of the tragedy will brake the minds of those who's bodies survived the torrents. In cases of such universal devastation survivors feel guilt, simply for not being dead. They need to believe that there is a reason for them to keep going, even if they don't know exactly what that reason is.

Heartbreaking. Unfortunately there’s plenty of kindling for their fires.

Can it, this is not an appropriate thread for the discussion of child porn. The Japanese are in extremis right now, and need our support and compassion. We grieve with them and our prayers are for them in their time of need.
To: Red Badger
Wow that is sad, and it is one of millions of pictures like it.

Salvation Army uses 100% of donations for the specified cause, no overhead it taken. You can donate through their website. All the money collected for this quake relief will go directly to their operation in Japan. They’ve been at work since Friday.

The other girl had reddish hair, I think. Hope the younger victims have family in other part of the country that could care for them.
To: Red Badger
What a shame! Prayers for her and everyone affected. When I look at this picture I just wish I could hug her and give some warm clothes and a place to sleep.
