Here in Ga. there’s a ccw law in the works to allow church members to carry

I don't get why a law is needed. Isn't a church considered private property? Even here in the absolute worst state about guns (Illinois), I can have a gun on my private property. With permission of whoever owns or controls that property, why not carry?

I may be missing something here but I honestly do not know what it is.

I have a conceal carry license. I carry to church. I am always on alert for the first Islamist to darken our door yelling "Allah Akb,,,". And thats all he'll get out before I plug him in the thoracic triangle.
