You may be right, but it should be easy to quantify if NASCAR sponsorship has proven more or less efficient than current methods of recruitment. If less, then cancel it - if more, then maybe we should cancel some of the OTHER methods.

I’d think the question ought to be on enlistment forms, even if it sounds awfully consumer marketish, like “what led you to shop at Sears?”
