- "Democrats do squeal about bloated plutocrats and evil corporations ~ failure to KNOW THAT suggests you may be from DU or something."

Apparently you don't appear to be able to think for yourself based on facts that are quite obvious. You take our dislike for a bloated tax-payer-paid structure (for which I provided the high-end examples found in public education for the state of Wisconsin), and because it provides information on the "HIGH-END TAXPAYER-SUBSIDIZED" wage earners, you equate MINE (as well as other's) OUTRAGE to that, as being the same and equal to....Democrats squealing about "bloated plutocrats and evil corporations"

To try and paint me as a member of DU solely based on the facts I have provided, shows your ideological 'knee-jerk reaction, a lack of intelligence, and an inability to think for yourself on the merits of the facts disclosed. I hope that time and some inner reflection will allow you to come around to a more sensible way of thinking.

Sorry, with 10,000,000 empty homes in America, and a 15 year overhang of relatively new construction projects completed, summer construction is not an option ~

Oh well then, that totally justifies the parasite parade...

No, it doesn't justify anything, but it does mean that the unpaid time when the schools are closed is a period of unemployment.

Something comparable might be SEASONAL WORK such as insect abatement (else you'd have malaria over half this country, and that'd be one heck of a vacation eh).

There are millions of people who are seasonally employed, and under the current regime, they don't have those second jobs they used to. Teachers simply have a slightly longer season then they are unemployed.

Around the DC area the school districts have cancelled summer school. That puts your teenager up against several adults for those few lawn care jobs around anymore.

You really do have to try harder at this "evidence" thing. If you want to attack the bargaining unit people called "teachers" give us the data about them right off the bat.

Telling us that their bosses (principals, superintendants, etc.) make a lot of money doesn't really get to the nutcutting.

It does you no good whatsoever to attack me as some sort of Leftwingtard when you do this ~ the data base spoke for itself ~ and mistakes like that tell us plenty about you.

For one thing doing that and not backing out instantly (asking the Administrator to allow you to fix your mistake for example) is typically done by Obama Truth Squaders and other disrupters and trolls.

The data said that the average teacher is paid better for 9 months work than the average worker, who in the end pays the teachers salary.

If you don't want to be treated like a Leftwingtard, or a statest parasite, don't act like one.

Speeking of "evidence", something you seem to be interested in but incapable of representing accuratly, typical, try This, or this, maybe here, possibly here.

Always amazed at how quickly "conservative" government union workers and non military lifers show their true colors. When will you be making your way to Madtown to support your poor oppressed comrades?

Still think it was a good idea to pretend someone actually made 7K as an annual teachers salary? Pot, kettle...

Not sure how it happened but your post to LibFreeUSA came up as a ping to me, I apologies for my harshness, I admit this situation has me a bit worked up and I let my emotions get the best of me.

Just look at the data for teachers ~ once that came up and we had data relating to the situation (teachers) it was obvious there continue to be serious problems in the data base. Frankly it's inadequate to the task of demonstrating whatever it is somebody wanted to demonstrate.

Just read through the data LINE BY LINE like I did. There's some strange critters in there ~ and that always means the folks who produced it DIDN'T CARE!

In the schools I went to there was always around 30+ students in each class. That’s what I was thinking too. It would appear they could easily lay off about half the teachers. That would work and save a lot of money over time. Bet there are a lot more administrators now then back when I went to school. Like you said, it would be interesting to find that ratio out.

Well, where did the $7500 come from if not payment to a teacher. That’s what the chart claimed it was. Do you have a footnote?

Regarding "The data said that the average teacher is paid better for 9 months work than the average worker"which means "what" in and of itself. The average worker includes captains of industry and janitors, and everybody in between.

What we need to know is how are public school teachers paid compared to other college graduates of comparable education levels. For instance, how are senior teachers (with a masters) paid in comparison to LAWYERS ~ bet that'd be interesting eh!

Funny. I never attacked you as "Leftwing" anything. Just lacking simple intelligence, which I suspect, maybe comes close though.

However! 'YOU', my friend, did attack me as a 'Leftwing' right off the bat. So, I suggest you take a close look in that mirror to see what you see.

I think your comment about the questionable competence of the people who put the numbers together is accurate. A full time person working only nine months still makes over 10K at minimum wage so clearly that number is with out meaning and calls into question the entire list.

My issue isn't so much with the teachers or their salaries, although I think it's clear that their compensation is more than fair, it's with the concept of unionized government workers who hold the rest of us hostage when they don't get their way.

I can't vouch for the accuracy of this but it seems reasonable. I think teachers should make as much money as their skill and dedication allow, based on merit, not some union contract, that's my real issue.

For instance, how are senior teachers (with a masters) paid in comparison to LAWYERS ~ bet that'd be interesting eh!

Lawyers, geez, you trying to kill me! Unions, lawyers and the media, I need a drink.

A typical Leftwingtard troll trick is to come in here using an old sign on they got years and years ago and toss some BS numbers at us and say "See, you're right, all bad people" and then run.

Wouldn't be the first time that happened.

I copied and pasted that in to a spreadsheet. The total is $98,186,065!

Total of what? Total of all WI gov employees salaries?
