MADISON, Wis. — Police officers are looking for Democratic Wisconsin lawmakers who were ordered to attend a vote on a bill that would strip public employees of collective bargaining rights.

No Democrats showed up for Thursday's Senate session, meaning a vote cannot be taken. Republicans need one Democratic senator to be present. Calls to Democratic leaders were not immediately returned.

Republicans are pushing the anti-union bill proposed by GOP Gov. Scott Walker. Thousands of people clogged the halls of the Statehouse for a third straight day in opposition.

Protesters clogged the hallways of the Wisconsin state Capitol on Thursday as the Senate prepared to pass a momentous bill that would strip government workers, including school teachers, of nearly all collective bargaining rights.

The POS democrats do this quite a bit. A remember several years ago when they ran out of the Texas legislature for the same reason. Pigs.

Now that’s funny.

Bi-partison means agreeing with the Progressives, or they’ll leave.

Another indication that liberalism is stunted maturity.

Democrats love our orderly representative republic.

As long as they win each vote.

Good luck in finding them.
They are heading to the nearest Catholic Church for Sancuary.

What a chickens**t move. They know they’re beaten. You know they want to be hauled into the chamber cuffed, kicking, and screaming for the image on TV.

They’re all halfway to Minnesota or Illinois right now, just like the Rats in Texas did a couple years back. Bank on it.

They’re not showing up for work, not even to vote ‘present’!

a vote cannot be taken. Republicans need one Democratic senator to be present

Okay, so why can't one Republican switch parties and become a Democrat for a day or two?

Begin RECALL petitions, or better yet, get an INJUNCTION to force the “Public Servants” to go to work. This is NOT “Representative Democracy”, and should be dealt with in the severest possible way. The Oath of Office has been violated by those not showing up for their Elected Postitions, and I believe that they could and SHOULD be removed from Office for Fraud, Derelection of Duty, or simple Violation of their duty.

He might have been a little bit wacky, but when Jesse Ventura was governor I read that he locked an entire committee in a room with his Rottweilers until they voted on a bill he wanted passed.

Rush Limbaugh is talking about this. “The Democrats are trying to shut down the govt., folks. They are organizing against the taxpayers who pay them.”
