A female political pundit has been heavily criticised for suggesting Lara Logan should have seen her sex attack coming - and for calling the Egyptians who were protesting for democracy 'animals'.
Debbie Schlussel posted a picture of Miss Logan on her blog, under the headline: 'Islam Fan Lara Logan Gets a Taste of Islam', before adding 'How fitting that Lara Logan was “liberated” by Muslims in Liberation Square while she was gushing over the other part of the “liberation".'
It comes as an American academic, Nir Rosen, yesterday resigned from his post at New York University after calling Miss Logan a 'warmonger' who was 'trying to outdo' rival news correspondent Anderson Cooper.
CBS correspondent Miss Logan endured a 'brutal and sustained' sexual assault and beating while covering the resignation of President Mubarak in Egypt.
The mother-of-one had been surrounded by an angry mob of 200 people before the assault which is thought to have lasted up to half an hour. She had to be saved by a group of women and 20 Egyptian soldiers and was later taken to hospital.
Yesterday Schlussel, who is Jewish, wrote: 'Lara Logan was among the chief cheerleaders of this 'revolution' by animals.
'Now she knows what Islamic revolution is really all about.
'So sad, too bad, Lara.

OK, so I read what Schlussel said.
How is this “laying into” Logan?
Forget I asked. This article is just a liberal getting her knickers in a knot.
She has freedom of speech but I don’t want to see Schussel on TV in a week bitching about all the hate mail and death threats shes had.
Besides, too many provocative pictures of Lara in bathing suit are available on the internet. Apparently, she was known to the crowd before she came to Egypt.
I wonder what her attitude toward Islam is now?

Those of you with offended sensibilities can just go fan yourselves in the Ladies room.
The incident with Lara Logan revealed these animals for what they are and, as such, may possibly redound negatively to his Zero-ness who has been taking credit for everything up until now.
So am I. She actually did have to go there because it was her job and her employer sent her there; she wasn’t out there cheerleading.
But I think that the media, which is wildly pro-Islamist, may have had a wakeup call. These peaceful, celebrating Muslims beat a male reporter and sexually attacked a female reporter, and would have done a lot more damage had it not been for the Egyptian army. I hope CBS et al. think twice before sending their reporters (of either sex) into a crowd like this again.
Debbie Schussel is blaming the wrong person. The real culprits are the Muslims, but the true fools were the media chains.

How there can be ANY justification made for a mob of brutal savages raping a woman is beyond me.

The reporter was truly unwise and like most taken in by contemporary PC conventions, dangerously unaware of the nature of evil in the world. But it is reprehensible to to take such vicious glee in such an ungodly act as a gang sexual assault as Debbie S. did.
Not her fault she was raped.
But only those who go into the ocean get attacked by sharks.
Lara Logan did not deserve to be raped or molested in any way.
I think Debbie Schussel is totally out of line.
At this point, I'm disgusted with FReepers who blame Lara for being raped. I know of at least one thread that was pulled.
While I agree she should have used better judgement, it is in no way an excuse for muslim men being on the same level as animals and not being able to control their barbaric urges. Islam itself encourages animalistic behavior in muslim men.
