If you aren’t sure, eliminate the compound, in this case “my friends.” You’re left with “I.” “Me” here in Chicago should tip you off. Lot’s of folks have problems with compound subjects and objects. sd
This article is outstanding analysis of the Chicago political scene. All of the “city” guys that I know always said that he’d be a one termer. I really think that Obama has no intention of ever working a “real” job.
