It is a Tucson bounce.

Plenty of people I know who were enthusiastic about Obama in 2008 and then very much less enthusiastic about him in 2010 are turning somewhat positive on him after the speech at Tucson.

FReepers may have hated it, but the generic person in the street liked it.

Because he seems less scary to moderates now that the GOP has the House.

Engineered poll results ~ as usual.

Oh, and there's currently no election campaign underway.

“after the speech at Tucson.”

People watched that?
Good lord I can’t imagine.
I refuse to even ponder the depths of intellectual agony that that listening to him would bring about.

Lies hurt. Stupidity even more. Yuk. Don’t ever make me watch something like that. I would rather be water boarded.
