I'm just a nobody who helps out at the local level, marches in parades with the county party, volunteers and organizes GOP events and openly supports conservative candidates. So I hear some things that go up the chain or come down from the state level. None of it involves being friends with the TEA party, even though every one of those state party officials was hanging around the steps of the Capitol on April 15. None of them were in the crowd, holding signs or anything like that.
Fair enough and thanks for your reply. We all know there are some pols out there who claim to be conservative who aren’t. I was just trying to get a sense for the man. We’re all aware of RINOs, but we’re less aware of pols who had to tone down there conservatism in order to get GOP support. It’s good to see that Tea Parties continue to influence events beyound the last mid-terms.
We should know pretty quick what political stripe Priebus wears. If he doesn’t come right out of the chute identifying RINOs and sending them packing we’ll know it’s business as usual.
I haven’t given money to either state or national GOPs in years. I give directly to conservative candidates. Priebus has to prove himself before that changes.
