Hey Christie, if you want our support stop making nice with obama and the rats. They’ll turn on you every time.v
The concern here is that the courts overrule the will of the people (to cut taxes). What is the point of electing a hatchet-man if his cuts are deemed “illegal”?
Christie has already exposed more of the socialist filth that is NJ than any ten governors combined...
LOL!
New Jersey is practically bankrupt and the Demoncrats are wondering if BUDGET CUTS are lawful?
LOL!!!
What illegal drugs are they addicted to?
This is one to watch.
Isn't that called 'conflict of interest'?
Changing the state constitution to read “adequate education” rather than “thorough and efficient” education would probably be a step in the right direction, but unfortunately, we voted to keep “thorough and efficent” several years ago, before we knew they were going to throw billions of dollars with absolutely no improvement down a rat hole.
No. It’s called SOP.
When the courts rule to put the funding back even though there is none, as a solution take the entire judicial budget away from them and give it to the schools. Fine, the judges can work for free.
I understand he’s done some really good things so far but today he was out there singing obamas praises. He can’t afford to lose his supporters on the right or the rats will eat him alive if he shows weakness.
For shi** sake!
It is the WEALTHIER districts that get screwed. They pay more taxes each year and get LESS? WHY? Becuase there is a state formula that requires POORER districts to be SUBSIZED by the wealthier ones. Wealthier districts have to practically BEG for a new roof! Wealthier districts don’t have near the RESOURCES that the POORER ones have and still the DOPES in the POORER DISTRICTS DROP OUT, KILL PEOPLE ad get hooked on drugs evn more than they did BEFORE this funding formula came about.
The truth is, you can throw as much money as you want at these kids. They are NOT INTERESTED IN LEARNING! It’s a ghetto CULTURAL thing. If mom is strung out on drugs or a prostitute and IF there is a dad around they don’t care.
Just recently the CEO for Facebook gave Newark, a real shi^hole 100 million dollars for the PUBLIC schools there. Instead of beefing up schools that the few that want to learn are in Newark, they were denied. Any kid that WANTS to learn in this pis*hole goes to a Charter or a private school. So they DENY them the money and waste it on those who are flunking out of the Newark public school. It’s a crime.
Newark Mayor Booker says Facebook CEO’s $100M donation will not be used for private-school vouchers

Facebook Inc. founder Mark Zuckerbergs $100 million donation to Newark, New Jerseys struggling school district wont be used to fund private-school vouchers and may result in some school closings, Mayor Cory Booker said.
Booker, joined by Zuckerberg, 26, and Governor Chris Christie, said he wants his city to become the first example of a public school turnaround and the overhaul may lead to the shuttering of some city schools.
Everythings on the table, he said today at a press conference in Newark.

Naturally that 100 MILLION DOLLARS will NOT be deducted from the New Jersey state redistribution of money to the
“poorer” school districts. ALl that has happened in more money is flushed down the toilet and UNIONS benefit from it.
LOL!
They forgot about this:
TechCrunch Interview With Mark Zuckerberg On $100 Million Education Donation
Michael Arrington Sep 24, 2010
Will the Demoncrats be DEDUCTING the 100 MILLION from their “formula”? Or should we have forgotten about that?
“What illegal drugs are they addicted to?’’. The most addicting one of all:Unbridled power. Democrats and the unions have owned my state for so long they really think they can do anything. And for all his pr and bluster Christie hasn’t done squat.
In Texas we called it the Robinhood plan. You’re correct that it’s the wealthy districts who are robbed. It’s nothing more than redistribution of wealth. And you’re also correct that it’s a waste of money because the poorer districts don’t put the money to good use.
The parents and students in those districts don’t care about education needs. They care about sports scholarships or not getting in trouble with the state for truancy violations. If they care about education at all, the parents work two and three jobs to send their kids to privat/good schools or use a friend’s address in a wealthier district.
Remember, there’s a war of sorts between Christie and the NJSC, because he just recently refused to reappoint a sitting justice, so the presiding judge filled the vacancy on his own...
Cut the salary of state judges.
Absolutely; that is why taxpaying Jerseyans are fleeing to states that still have a WASP ethic...
NJ hasn’t had “thorough and efficient” education in decades; that is illegal as well (and not just in Abbott districts, which I believe are at the center of this suit).
He is as anti-socialist as they come; I see a difference between respect for an office and spinelessness. Is there anything about either Obama or Christie that would lead you to believe they could ever stand each other? If Christie is polite while he dismantles one of the most corrupt, socialist machines in the US, I can accept that. I assure you that the people upset with Christie voted for Obama.
“Hey Christie, if you want our support stop making nice with obama and the rats. Theyll turn on you every time.v”
Forget it...between guns, immigration, and now Sarah, Christie is cutting his own path. We conservatives should watch and enjoy (especially regarding the teachers), but any hope of him being one of us is futile.
