Looks like a crosshair symbol, not a surveyors or register mark.
This really does show the insanity of these people. They’re calling for people to kill Sarah Palin because some nut killed a republican appointed judge and a nine year old kid.
Sadly I’m afraid some liberal nut job will spend a month or two posting on conservative websites to build up their resume then WILL try to kill a politician just so they can say they were incited by Palin.
The criminal class is comprised almost exclusively of liberals. Just take a look at the prison population. How many of them are Constitutional Conservatives?

EXACTLY. But Palin IS so controversial, especially after the concerted MSM/Liberals/Democrat attacks on her since Saturday’s shooting. I’ve read SOOOOOOOOO many stupid comments online from stupid liberals who actually believe Palin caused Giffords to be shot! If there’s another Jared Lee Loughner out there, would he/she be pushed over the edge with something like this, unfortunately?! :-(

1. It's not a surveyor mark, it is a gunsight.
2. It's not a geographic area, such as a district or state that sighted, it's an individual.
But facts don't matter to liberals, just feelings, and they feel hate, outrage, and fear.

As the creators of (and buyers of this t-shirt) well know, there is a boatload of difference in putting that mark over a person’s face/head/body and over a map of a congressional district.
As a private citizen, can Sarah sue?

Exactly, this a clear gun sight right over someone’s photo with all the tell tell marks of a gun sight, the dashes, the circle in the middle, etc... If there was a shirt like with Obama’s photo the purveyor would be immediately arrested and likely sentenced to a long prison term.
The symbol on Pailn’s map was at worst inartful. It does somewhat resemble a scope. Notice I said somewhat. I didn’t see it that way, but I can see where someone might get the idea. Especially if the media constantly reminds them. She’d have been better off using one of those google maps tear drop symbols. Although, the media would accuse her of targeting just the same.
