While I agree that the “surveyors marks” “crosshairs” quibble is beside the point and sounds kind of silly (far better to point out that BOTH sides use bullseyes to “target” vulnerable districts) - it is kind of unusual for the “cross hairs” to EXTEND PAST THE DIAMETER OF THE “SCOPE”.

The image used was clearly that of a circle with a vertical and horizontal line that extended well past the circumference of a circle.

I know most liberals have never actually looked down a scope, but let me assure them that it doesn't look like a circle with lines that extend past the circumference of the circle.
