White Flight
President Obamas path to a second term may rely on states shaped by the same social forces he embodies.

By any standard, white voters rejection of Democrats in Novembers elections was daunting and even historic.
Fully 60 percent of whites nationwide backed Republican candidates for the House of Representatives; only 37 percent supported Democrats, according to the National Election Poll exit poll conducted by Edison Research. Not even in Republicans 1994 congressional landslide did they win that high a percentage of the white vote.
Moreover, those results may understate the extent of the white flight from the Democratic Party, according to a National Journal analysis of previously unpublished exit-poll data provided by Edison Research.
The new data show that white voters not only strongly preferred Republican House and Senate candidates but also registered deep disappointment with President Obamas performance, hostility toward the cornerstones of the current Democratic agenda, and widespread skepticism about the expansive role for Washington embedded in the partys priorities. On each of those questions, minority voters expressed almost exactly the opposite view from whites.

More work to be done.
IOW the maoist was left with the welfare class.
The evil bastards — nothing could be too horrible to happen to any ‘Rat politician.
“Fully 60 percent of whites nationwide backed Republican candidates for the House of Representatives; only 37 percent supported Democrats,”
How many of the 37% are government employees (including teachers) and unmarried women?
More work to be done.
Some folks you just can't reach.
...of course employed whites are fleeing the Dems...Obama-Reid-Pelosi have opened their eyes to what progressive Dem governance is all about...before it was just some abstract concept of ‘sharing’ that sounded noble....now it becomes clear that it’s not sharing at all....rather confiscation and re-distribution.
Love that graphic!
Well gee, lib politicians are out there openly saying they’re going to take from whites and give to minorities.
So what should I say?
Our local “won” their guy.
I will have to ask the three guys that still have jobs how things worked out for them.
I will see them when withdrawing my annuity next week.

That 36% has Fudge for brains.
Not to mention that many Asian and Hispanic are basically independents and will flow along with the white demo.
“You mean you don’t want Obamacare? You don’t want to support all our other social programs? RACIST! Those are reparations! You OWE those things!”

If you look at the graph on the second page, though, while the Democrat share of the white vote is the lowest in 2010, and the gap between whites and minorities the most, the Democrat share of the minority vote is also at the lowest point since they’ve been tracking it.
There's a lot of talk in this article about Obama's re-election depending on the many "youth voters" who turned out in unusually high numbers in 2008. The assumption seems to be that young people are somehow permanently smitten and will continue to turn out in unusually high numbers just because Obama is on the ballot. Why would they? The "first black president" thing is over and done with. The Messiah turns out to put his pants on one leg at a time, and is now just an incumbent president with a very high unemployment rate. I think the Donks are smoking rope if they think that "young voters" will turn out for Obama in 2012 the way they did in 2008. |
These are the people that voted for 0bama thinking they were buying atonement for past “racism”. They were supposed to be relieved of their white guilt.
Then Barky started implementing his “every policy is de facto reparations” agenda, and they figured out they got ripped off.
Just out of curiosity - does anyone know the origin of the “That’s Racist” kid prior to becoming an animated GIF? Was it something from Sesame Street maybe?
I agree.
A sizable number of those “yout voters” are also peeved at Øbongo because he hasn’t shown himself to be sufficiently batsh!t crazy to suit them. Their votes were never reliable to begin with - even less reliable now.
The source material that the Thats Racist GIF comes from is the short-lived TV series Wonder Showzen. The series originally aired from 2005 to 2006 on MTV2.
