Prayer request: For my Lung Cancer diagnosed friend and mentor.

A 70 plus age retired Texas Air National Guard Lt. Colonel has been diagnosed with Stage 3 lung cancer.
During the Bush debate in the media concerning whether or not Bush completed his obligation to the State of Texas, this is the guy the Bush people requested to review his service records.
Please offer prayers for my friend.

Father, with you nothing is impossible. You are God of all flesh; we love you and we are confident that no situation is too hard for you. We come to you on behalf of this dear one seeking healing from lung cancer. God, Jesus Christ has fully paid the price by the stripes He took; we therefore are asking that the devourer gets off from this child of yours in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.

Lord God, I do not know this mans name, you do. You know everything about him, best of all, you know his heart. Father we thank you for his life, we thank you for his family. Lord we ask you to keep your hand upon this man and his family, help them to deeply know your love of them and your presence in their lives in a very close, special sort of way.
Father, we cry out to you for healing, and short of that for minimal suffering. Mostly Lord, we seek your will in these lives, that you would use this family to your purpose, that your name would be glorified through this illness. We thank you Lord for your love and all that you do for us, in the name of our savior, Jesus Christ, Amen.

My wife’s cancer journey started last year at this time and today she completed her last chemo treatment.
He can beat this, my wife’s cancer was 3b.
Prayers in the midst of despair do get heard and answered. Trust your heart and follow the Lord. Thy will be done!

There is always hope. My wife was diagnosed this past June with Stage 4 Lung Cancer that mastasized to her esophagus. After six separate day-long chemo treatments, 3 weeks apart, she is now in complete remission. Please pass this info along to your friend and tell him that people really do care about him.
