Sean Hannity is on vacation this week, so his Fox News show is being hosted by Tucker Carlson. During a discussion tonight about President Obama's controversial defense of Michael Vick,Carlson said that Vick "should have been executed." Watch inside.

I just don’t understand why, despite the fact he NEVER gets any ratings, they keep giving this guy a job as a pundit. He is as dumb as a box of rocks.
Before animal cruelty becomes a capital crime, things like rape, murder, kidnapping and TREASON need to be made capital crimes.
I hope to God he is trying to make a point and is going to zing the liberals when they are outraged (OUTRAGED!!!) over this statement.

Clearly the pampered man-boy Tucker Swanson McNear Carlson got a little too close with his Daddy’s terriers in their Hillsborough Heights mansion as a youngling.
They don’t execute serial killers of human beings in most states. I am speechless.

I would sign on to torture. I’m sure it was something like torture for the defenseless pets like Labradors and Collies that are used to train these dogs to kill. They usually urinate on themselves in fear prior to having their throats torn out. It’s all in good fun though ya know, just a minor cultural difference.
Why the hell would PETA forgive this guy? Palin’s a monster because she hunts and actually eats up in Alaska but it’s ok to torture dogs? And just imagine what Vick did and we don’t even know about! Vick should never have been allowed back to the NFL. Talk about the wrong message for young atheletes! And Obama! The president is an idiot for making that phone call...he was probably high when he made the call.
Hey kids, torture animals (like Jeffrey Dahmer did-but probably a lot less than Vick) and serve a year and a half and then it’s all goooooood yo!

Lousy ratings and stupidity are MSNBCs stock in trade.
So, it's perfectly logical for Mr. Vick to be vilified for the rest of his life (despite the fact that all indications are he really HAS changed his ways), while other sports figures-turned-crimainals (rapists, armed robbers, drug dealers and man-slaughterers/murderers) are forgiven and their crimes forgotten. Perfectly 'logical', that is, IF you are some kind of whacked-out, liberal, human-hating, animal-worshipping, moon-bat.
At least Michael Vick never blamed anyone but himself for his actions. When his co-conspirators laid the whole dog-fighting operation at his feet, he did not show up on TV News 3 times a day to deny the charges and vow that "the truth" would come out. In fact, I did not hear him say anything publicly in his own defense. He accepted the blame, accepted his prison sentence, did his time, vowed to change his behavior and appears to have done so.
In other words, he accepted personal responsibility for his own actions. That is something which conservatives CLAIM they think is a good thing. Furthermore, personal redemption and forgiveness is something which Christians CLAIM each of us can achieve/receive. Given those two things, I cannot understand the derision which continues to be heaped on the man by so-called conservative ‘pundits’ (and others claiming to be conservatives and/or Christians).

Not sure the death penalty was appropirate, but Vick is no saint. He ran that dog fighting thing for 5 years and oh yea, he gave genital herpes to a woman using the name Ron Mexico. Hopefully, he is on the road to recovery. while I’ve done some bad things in my life, they don’t quite match up with what old Ron...er Mike has done.
