Maybe O’Donnell is confusing the very public support for some charities that Liberal celebrities do, with the average “giving” of the average Liberal. Although the former is very notable, the later is factually less than Conservatives.

Guess the best thing (that I like) about Ann Coulter is that she tends to send Liberals into Spasms of incoherent rage. There is always the chance that I may read, "Noted Liberal Columnist / Commentator (fill in the name), died today.

Cause of death was not immediately made clear but by-standers said that they had been concerned about a recent episode where (he/she) had had a temper tantrum. They noted that the veins in (his/her) forehead were pulsating as (he/she) went into a full-blown, frothing-at-the-mouth, proxysm of purple-faced rage with random globules of spittle flying about.

The source of the irritation was not immediately clear until someone recalled that Ann Coulter had been on a recent episode of (fill in the blank)'s show...

O'Donnell is correct. Liberals give much more to charity than conservatives.

The problem is that they give other people's money.

If it bothers them that much, they should start giving. Oh, wait, what bothers them is that we know how stingy, dare I say ‘niggardly’ they are.

SCROOGE WAS A LIBERALDecember 22, 2010
It's the Christmas season, so godless liberals are citing the Bible to demand the redistribution of income by government force. Didn't Jesus say, "Blessed are the Health and Human Services bureaucrats, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven"? Liberals are always indignantly accusing conservatives of claiming God is on our side.

What we actually say is: We're on God's side, particularly when liberals are demanding God's banishment from the public schools, abortion on demand, and taxpayer money being spent on Jesus submerged in a jar of urine and pictures of the Virgin Mary covered...

Coulter’s correct, and if you ever need the science to back her up, read “Makers and Takers” by Peter Schweizer. It’s an excellent source of studies which have been done that profile conservatives and liberals.

A liberal thinks they are being generous when they give away something that belongs to somebody else. In fact, many still think they are being generous when they, themselves, are among the recipients of the “generosity”.

They are all so hypocritical, but too blind to see it.

When Rush has his fundraiser for the cancer and lymphoma society, he rakes in millions in donations and then proceeds to match it with his own donation usually up to several hundred thousand dollars worth. Can anyone verify the actual totals that Rush and his audience brought in last summer during the fundraiser? I know it dwarfs the amount that O’Donnell is cheeting about.

Not exactly broken down by political leaning, but

http://www.miller-mccune.com/culture/jewish-americans-win-alms-race-22297

...“Although simple descriptions of giving to basic necessity organizations reveal differences across Christian denominational identities,” he writes, “these differences disappear when other differences in income, wealth, ethnicity, etc. are controlled.”

Once those factors were taken out of the equation, Ottoni-Wilhelm found “[n]o differences between Protestant families and Catholic families. No differences between mainline Protestant families and evangelical Protestant families.”

The only exception was Jewish families, who were, on average, significantly more generous than those of other faiths...
