From the weather map I've seen this AM ... real time ... it appears the storm track will only deliver a glancing blow to the north east coast. The areas effected most will be Long Island, Cape Cod and the Islands, portions of NE Maine and Nova Scotia.
The only thing that bothers me is the inevitable power failure...lots of elderly people in New England who will suffer without heat in their homes for some time...makes me want to smack the kids on the forums at AccuWeather who are positively giddy about this storm...probably the same crowd that cheers when a tornado scores a direct hit on someone’s home...
