I don't have a site to get advertising dollars. But are you protesting the posting of WaPo and NY Times excerpts? I haven't seen that yet.
You only seem to have a problem with conservatives getting page views, or that's all you'll publicly complain about.
You continue doing as you like.
See how it works out for you.
Do what as I like?
I grew up with guns. Got my first hand-me-down Daisy BB gun when I was about 6. My 2 older brothers worn it out! It was so weak the BB would fall on the ground about 10 feet from the barrel. LOL! Boy-o-boy I had fun with it though.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with teaching kids how to shoot and handle guns responsibly. In fact it is a skill that may serve them well in the all too near future.
I really hate these a—holes who hijack our FR threads about good old America so as to advance their own political agenda.
Posting in blogs, not posting in blogs, bandwidth, hits, NY Slimes, Zero, hyperlinks to their own sites so as to increase their hits.
Can’t you mindless zombies go read Huffington Post or maybe the Drudge Retort.
If the excerpt is well written and catches your attention enough to click on the thread, why is it such a burden to you to go to the site and read the rest? Examiner.com is well put together and has a LOT of great writers who are of a strong conservative bent AND get paid based on the number of hits to their articles. No, they are NOT JUST bloggers, but serious members of the new media and are deserving of our support. If you can’t support someone just with a simple click to the examiner.com site and want him or her to write everything for free, just to meet YOUR standards of purity, you are pitiful excuses for human beings and probably liberals in disguise.
We're not here to provide you a revenue stream. We're here to provide FR an information stream.
If you are linking to your own work through excerpts on FR you are advertising on our volunteer supported, advertising-free site without paying for it. Since we do not accept advertising fees from anyone you are a mere blog pimp.
We are more interested in people posting full articles that they find and excerpting only those that force us to excerpt. We don't much respect most of those that force us to excerpt.
If you force FReepers to excerpt your blog just so you can get hits rather than share your work with the FR community then you are really not much of a conservative community member after all. You are merely advertising on an advertising-free website which classifies you as a blog pimp. Blog pimping is not allowed.
Sorry, I got my posts confused last night. I didn't mean to accuse you of anything. Sorry again.
Fortunately it’s not yet MY revenue stream. However, your unwillingness to see someone paid for his work certainly speaks volumes to your credentials. Even JimRob gets paid for his work on FR. You are naught but an intellectual leech, contributing nothing but more than willing to suck the life out of those who write for a living and are willing to share, to a point, the product of their minds!! They deserve to get paid for their efforts, just like JimRob. And all it takes on your part is a click. Now I’m talking just about examiner.com, not blogspot.com or whatever.
You're line is bullsh!t. I'm not in charge. I am a professional and I expect to get paid in the proper venue. This ain't it. I'm just giving you the lay of the land.
Your personal insults tell me you don't have a logical, substantive leg to stand on. You know you're a predatory blog pimp. If I were a leach, I'd read your material, which I haven't. So I owe you nothing. Yet you are taking up my time arguing for free advertising which is against rules I didn't write and can't enforce.
What the hell is wrong with you? Shooting the messenger is pointless and insulting the messenger is very poor form indeed.
I dare you to have this argument with the management...
My 8yr old will get his very own 22 rifle and .410 shotgun tomorrow. He already knows how to use them safely. He killed his first turkey the day after Thanksgiving with his late grandfather’s old 20GA.
