I like your thinking.

That is exactly what Palin was promoting -a free and open market of candidates and ideas, let the cards fall where they may...

Exactly, Demint needs to publicly state that those voting with Democrats need to caucus with them and face the wrath of the voters.

Absolutely. While we hold the House it's time to begin cleaning the Augean stable of the Senate.

See if the Democrats want the whole lot of them ~ bet they don't!

We're doomed.

Eventually, a rational minority will save us even from an irrational majority.
It won't be exactly democratic but that is why pure democrazy has never been a good thing.

I would be “we”, meaning conservatives, do not hold the U.S. House.
25% of “Republicans” are really Democrat moles.

We need to run solid conservatives if we are to have any hope of taking over the Senate, not some fringe person whose ideas are so nutty that they can’t attract reasonable conservatives let alone the namby pamby middle.

Nutty ideas from Miller? Name them.

I'll look for your answer.

The Alaska Supreme Court decision is here:

It seems strictly decided on Alaska and Federal law, and previous decisions by multiple courts. Note that the Court ruled against Murkowski, denying her about 2000 votes.

She always had an uphill battle. I think most of us regarded DE as hopeless. I thought COD ran an excellent campaign, and as you said, did better than McMahon among white folks.

And McMahon did not run a poor campaign, CT was competitive all the way through.

Christine did as well as any Senate Republican Candidate in DE since Roth. Clatworthy earned about 40 percent. Ting was a disaster. She improved 5 points over her run against Biden.

The Republicans don't have to let her in their caucus. She can be forced to caucus with her left and right buttocks for that matter, or go play ball with Hairy Reed.

Fur shur she's not reliable enough a vote for the Republicans to tolerate her.

You can't do that with all the RINO's. Lose Murkowski, Snowe, Collins, Brown, Kirk, and just two more (possibly Graham, Alexander, Corker, Cochran, McCain, take your pick) and the Democrats can do whatever they want again.

In this lame duck session, she voted:

For cloture on the START treaty.
For the START treaty itself.
For the DREAM act.
For the repeal of Don't Ask, Don't Tell.

Yet we have a poster on this thread who says that Miller was the "so nutty" one.

Murky was able to do what she did because she had the 100% FULL SUPPORT of the NATIONAL GOP LEADERSHIP.

Obviously the voters in Alaska love their patronage. Sigh.

The Democrats still can do what they want, but they can’t get it through the House! You cut off the RINOs and idiots NOW, and that’ll take all their seniority rights away.

I hope the Conservative Republicans in Alaska make good ole Lisa’s Holiday really enjoyable just like Nebraska’s did for Nelson after the “Cornhusker” deal.

Why not start moving to subject all judges (perhaps excepting those on the USSC) to retention elections so the people can get their piece of these slimy politicians in black robes.

Actually, it's decided on a couple of principles that involve "voter intent" that have been repeatedly rejected by the state legislature and the United States Supreme Court.

It also violates any construction of the Equal Protection requirement of the 14th amendment.

Alaskans will have to figure out how to get rid of their judges though. Not my job.
