Jacquerie,

I have read your personal page and you sound like the poster child for conservatism. And so, I am not surprised to see this post from you:

“No, I do not. And when in conflict, God’s Law is superior to the laws of man. Our Declaration of Independence makes that clear.”

In light of that, I would like you to consider more broadly the position you are taking in relation to this current thread.

Here is my line of reasoning. From the Declaration of Independence we learn that the God of Nature put in place Natural Laws which give us the right to pursue life liberty and happiness and those rights cannot be removed from us by a gov’t.

So now, we are discussing sexual behavior. That of course includes preference. If the God of Nature has indeed put in place Natural Law then logically we must be able to see by looking to Nature, these laws at work. As we look to the kingdom of mammals-—let us not forget our esteemed scientific community has made it clear for us that we as humans are a part of this kingdom-—how would sexual behavior be classified ULTIMATELY? Is it a pursuit of happiness? For humans, yes, but for all mammals? No. Otherwise you’d see dogs doing it all the time everywhere. What about the pursuit of liberty? Maybe for humans, but for other mammals? Not so much. As a rule, throughout the mammalian species, we see sexual behavior related ULTIMATELY to the pursuit of life. At it’s most basic and logical conclusion, sexual behavior is absolutely related to the pursuit of life.

Now to homosexual behavior as it relates to the pursuit of life. It is clearly observable in all parts of the mammalian kingdom-—as you remember we have been told we are a part of-—this type of behavior occurs in less than 1% of the total population of any given species. Secondly, and certainly more applicable, in the mammalian kingdom, with the exception of humans, any animal showing homosexual behavior is made to be separate from the group. Why? Because their behavior is detrimental to the pursuit of life. Period.

So, how, Jacquerie, do you plan to make the pursuit of homosexual behavior sync with what is factually known in nature? It would appear, that in this instance, the laws put in place by the God of Nature have been trampled upon by our congress and are in conflict with the declaration of independence. So where do you stand, Jacquerie? With the constitution, or with the declaration of independence? With God or with man?

It appears to me that you hope to be able to stand in the middle and hope that others will stand with you. It also appears that you would say that someone who stands with God first is standing against the government. I hope appearances are deceiving!

Nevertheless, all people who call themselves Christians, if the progressive agenda is successful in this country, ultimately will be asked to demonstrate where their allegiance is...with God or Man. I hope you are preparing for this possible eventuality.

Just a few thoughts to broaden the scope of discussion on this particular thread.

Sicerely,
Daisy Mae

Thank you for your thoughts.

I think the repeal of DADT is awful. There is no doubt that it will negatively affect the effectiveness of the most professional military force in history.

How does allowing openly homosexual people in the military violate God's law? It does not, anymore than the admittance of homos in your church does.

For violations of Natural Law, consider that our government has become an instrument of plunder, giving the property of one to another, it violates contracts, government provides funds to kill the unborn . . . the list goes on.

Homosexuality is sin against God. Allowing sinners into the military is not a violation of God's Law.
