If the GOP insists on turning their friend-or-foe indicator off, we will have to splash them like any other bogey.
34 years in Congress is long enough to corrupt just about anyone. Lugar’s ACU rating in 2009 was 68% (same as Lisa Murkowski). Enough said.
When the progressives convinced the majority they could use the electoral process to deprive the minority of their unalienable right to the fruit of their own labor the die was cast. When governments are no longer instituted to secure unalienable rights, the choices of the majority become illegitimate and tyrannical.
Let's assume that this platitude refers directly to the US Federal Government....I ask: Now what??
Resistance: Here are three examples
1) Support Term Limits and Balanced Budget amendment, and vote against anyone who wants to steal more of my money.
2) I've refuse to allow my kids anywhere near a public school
3) I pay the absolute minimum I can to the government however I can. I shop online to avoid sales taxes, I drive old cars to avoid hire tag costs, I work under the table, I take every deduction I can think of on my schedule C of the IRS 1040. I don't fill out 1099 forms.
Way to go...sounds like you're organized. And I mostly agree with your efforts, however, we already have term limits - they're called "elections".
As to the IRS...they are just the Fed. Govt. police force. They enforce the govt. theft...they don't mandate it. That mandate comes from your Federal representatives. And if they're not doing what you want them to, you have the duty to replace them - through the elective process - with someone more in line with where you want things to go...or stay, as the case may be.
At any rate, for the bits you've provided here, I say, "HURRAH"!!!
Now...if you've time to read, try picking up a copy of W. Grieder's book (at the library) called, "Who Will Tell The People". It was written back in the 90s, but is as relevant today (maybe more so) than it was then.
If you read it, let me know what you think of it.
