Plenty of places where you can argue with libs to your heart’s content.
If Jim Rob wanted this place to be a debating clinic, then it would be exactly that. However JimRob has a different idea. A different vision to provide Conservative content to a world hostile to his vision. Seems to work pretty well for him.
I do not know Jim Rob nor his vision for FR. There seems to be much debate on FR about a whole host of issues. I never got the idea that any subject was off limits until I read this specific post. It seems to contradict the name, Free Republic. Free speech, even of horrible positions, is the life blood of a free republic. As I said, FR is free to decide whatever and whomever are on its board. I find homosexuality and abortion to be immoral, and I do not support those that advocate them. On the other hand, I am an avid supporter of free speech.
